Budget Inn located **** Scarborough Boulevard Columbus Ohio, I booked a room through booking.com to this hotel confirmation number through text Load confirmation on the app!*booking.com*App-XkaBPO*cWrib*JK* (link expires)*Booking ****.***.****PIN ******with * adult and * kids, (website said pets are allowed and card wouldn’t get charged until check in) upon arrival on June *th at approximately *:** pm I stepped in to the office where husband and wife (Indians) were also and the male approached the window and asked for my ID and I never gave him my ID due to I wasn’t certain that I wanted to stay once I actually saw the condition it was in and how unclean it was also. The male Indian tapped on the glass window he was behind demanding in a rude way for my Id, so o left and booked a room once again through bookin.com at the hotel next door. Once arrived to the next door hotel, Budget Inn charged my CC $**.**! So, immediately, I rushed back over to find out why when I’ve never given them permission and I’ve never given them my ID. The male holds up paper work and begins to yell at me stating “YOU BOOKED A ROOM HERE, I CHARGE YOU” I said true I booked a room here but I don’t want the stay at your motel and you had no right to charge my card without my permission and further more you didn’t have my ID! When I asked for the paper work he denied me rights for my copy. But ran back behind his window to show me a portion in the paperwork that read “Non Re fundable ”. I told the male that yes that would be true if I went through with the booking but I didn’t and the website assure me that I wouldn’t get charged and I didn’t until I walked out the door and drove away for the male to then charge my card without my knowledge or permission! So after demanding for a room that ilia now paid for and is clearly what I didn’t want, the male Indian refused to give me his name when asked stated to me his name is “the manager” and everyone knows him, and he refused to give me a receipt for the payment of the room he charged me! I told him that he’s scamming people who don’t want to stay at his motel out of money then refuses to refund! So now I’m in a room that not only that I didn’t want but was forced to now stay in because of “this manager” poor way of doing business. My dog can’t been in the room because “no pets are allowed” yet the website said that they were! Then this male even tried to tel me he would have to charge me an additional $** telling me it’s whats due when clearly what he stole from me is what was due according to the site! I will be reporting this to the news and the radio stations of how I was mistreated! This room *** smells of old mold, and overall just down right nasty! I am requesting my full refund of $**.**! They are scamming people, and what’s put on the website is bogus information! My name is Katrina Strong and I am an unsatified customer who didn’t even want to be a customer!
