Hello, I have a Bodum 1.0L french press. Today, while making my usual hot water in the kettle, I attempted to pour the boiling water into the carafe. To my surprise, when it was about 2/3 full, the carafe exploded, and upon closer inspection, I noticed that the bottom came off. How can this happen with heat-resistant glass? I received this carafe as a gift about a year ago and use it daily, always cleaning and rinsing it by hand. T. D.

Hello, I contacted Bodum using their email contact form and had a series of exchanges with Andre about my non-working Bodum Schiuma battery-operated milk frother. Andre requested a video of the issue and proof of purchase. I provided a photo of the device with the original box showing the purchase price, which Andre said was not sufficient and requested a receipt. Despite my attempts to show the problem with the switch, the support received was unsatisfactory. My husband temporarily fixed the issue with aluminum foil to test the switch. I would like a replacement or refund for my Bodum Schiuma Milk Frother due to the faulty switch.

I am extremely frustrated. I tried to contact customer service and instead got a recorded message regarding a medical device. Subsequently, I was bombarded with multiple offers, which is unacceptable. I am concerned about my phone number being shared with various companies without my consent. Regarding my issue, it pertains to my Bodum Bistro Burr Grinder purchased from Amazon in [redacted]. Today, the grinder is not functioning properly - the motor starts sluggishly and fails to grind the beans. This product cost $70, and I am disappointed by its current state. Could you please advise me on what options are available for me to address this problem? Thank you.

I placed an order for the following items with order number [redacted]32: 1. Bodum Copenhagen: The stand is broken. 2. Ceylon: There are some small scratches on it. I am unsure where to return these items and have been trying to contact Bodum customer care daily without success. I am concerned about who will bear the return costs for these faulty products. It is not my fault that I received damaged items; I prefer replacements over a refund. On April 19th, I experienced a coffee accident that led to burns on my right leg and a fall that resulted in a broken right wrist. I was alone during the incident and felt upset. After being taken to the hospital, I was informed of my injuries and the need for a 6-week plaster cast. This situation has prevented me from driving, working, or going to the gym. It has been a challenging few weeks. Although I had the plaster removed recently, I require an additional 2 weeks for recovery. Fortunately, I hope to fully heal. I still have the coffee maker and photos available if needed. I am relieved that my grandchildren were not present during the accident. I have relied on taxis and friends for transportation as I cannot drive for another week, which is inconvenient as I had plans for my 64th birthday. Good afternoon, seven months ago I purchased a black Bodum French press coffee maker, and the thread on the filter has become loose, causing the entire filter structure to move, resulting in coffee not filtering properly and grounds passing through. I find it unusual as I have always used this product and the brand is reputable. I would like to purchase a replacement part because the coffee maker is in good condition, and I use it properly. I am unsure which replacement part to get, as in Argentina only glass carafes are available, not the specific part I need. I am not sure if it came faulty, but it is not usable anymore. I would appreciate it if you could inform me if replacement parts for the thread that holds the pressure to keep the filter down are available. Thank you very much. Best regards. Hello. I own 3 Bodum chrome travel mugs, and unfortunately, two of them have damaged lids due to frequent use resulting in the plastic clip breaking. I have attempted to purchase replacements from the spare parts website without success. This poses a risk of scalding as the lids no longer close securely. Working in a junior school with small children, it's essential to maintain health and safety standards. I would like to request two replacement lids for my purple and beige/green mugs, or a generic black lid if available. I am a loyal customer who has even bought these mugs as gifts. Hello, On the 29th of August, I sent an email to [redacted] regarding an issue with my Travel French Press CoffeeMaker 0.35 L, black. I have been using this coffee maker for a while now and have been very pleased with it. However, recently the lid has not been screwing on properly, causing coffee to spill. I have not mishandled the product and have taken good care of it. I have attached a picture for your reference. I have tried swapping the sealing rings between the lids, but it has not solved the problem. The Toaster Model #[redacted] is frustratingly sticky to the touch, and no cleaning attempts have been effective. Stored in a kitchen cabinet without any user-inflicted stickiness, this appliance's condition is disappointing. Furthermore, both slots toast bread unevenly, with one side over-toasting and the other burning the bread. These issues make the product unusable and extremely dissatisfying.

I bought a salt and pepper electric mill from Bodum at a Bodum store for over £60. It has a silicon outer layer and tilts to operate. Over time, the silicon outer layer became sticky and cleaning it did not help. This has rendered the set unusable. I am requesting your assistance in obtaining a replacement. I am concerned about the quality of the product given the price I paid, as none of my other kitchen items with silicon have had this issue.

I recently had an unfortunate incident with the coffee percolator I bought from your company not long ago. The glass container unexpectedly broke while I was handling it, leading me to have to discard it. Hello Bodum, I recently purchased a replacement cafetière for my stainless steel cool wall cafetière, but unfortunately, the item I received is too small for my current one. My cafetière measures 195mm in height with a diameter of 120mm, and the plunger mesh unit I need is 85-90mm in diameter. The unit I was sent, labeled as V1503, is too small at 60mm diameter. I have contacted Bodum three times regarding the defective Bodum Bistro grinder I purchased. My initial email was polite, offering to pay more to upgrade or requesting a return if necessary. In my second email, I expressed interest in upgrading to a different product, but the grinder's performance had worsened. I stated that the 30-day return window was closing soon and requested a return label promptly. Despite my efforts, I received no response to any of my emails, which has been disappointing. I have been unable to find a contact number for assistance, and the grinder is now almost unusable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have attempted to contact you via email three times regarding the faulty Bistro grinder I received. I have also tried to find a phone number to call before the 30-day period expired, yet I have not received a response. If I do not hear back in the next 24 hours, I will escalate this matter by filing a complaint with the BBB. This situation is disappointing as I was a loyal Bodum customer prior to this experience. Despite my previous polite attempts to resolve this issue, the lack of response has led me to reconsider my support for Bodum. I am involved in the coffee industry and will no longer recommend Bodum. However, if I receive a timely response, I am hopeful this can be resolved without involving the BBB. I trust that this oversight does not reflect Bodum's typical customer service approach. I have a saucepan lid that is not new, but it is dripping silver coating from the screw inside the lid, which is holding the handle, into the food in the pan when it's hot and steamy. I believe the screw should be made from non-corrosive or drip-resistant metal, regardless of how old it is. I can send you a photo to illustrate the issue if needed. Can you replace the lid and ensure that the same problem won't happen again in the future?

I have been using your cafetieres for years now. A couple of years ago, I purchased a new one along with a cream hand mixer to match. Approximately a year ago, I bought a new plunger. Today, while pouring a pot of coffee, a large piece of the cafetiere glass broke off, spilling hot coffee on my hand and sleeve. The glass broke about 1/2 inch from the handle, forming a 4-inch long V shape. I believe it was a Brazil cafetiere. I have pictures, and I am trying to send them. I take good care of my belongings, and this incident was unexpected. I would appreciate it if you could investigate the cause of this and consider providing a replacement if necessary. I bought four Bodum glasses and began using them recently. Unfortunately, three glasses have broken at the bottom. We are uncertain if this was due to adding ice or another reason. Today, the breaking glass might have led to me accidentally swallowing a piece. We are keeping an eye on it and will seek medical help if needed. I would like to: 1. Alert other customers about the tendency of these glasses to break. 2. Request a refund for the four glasses.

I purchased a Bodum burr Grinder a few weeks ago, but it has stopped working entirely. I contacted customer service and promptly provided a video and additional information as requested. However, I have not heard back from them in over a week, which is frustrating. They are currently working remotely and are unreachable by phone. If I do not receive a response soon, I may have to escalate my claim through social media and the Better Business Bureau.
