I had an unfortunate encounter while shopping with my daughter recently at your Bloomingdale’s in the shops at Walt Whitman, Huntington Station , NY. *We ran in to pick up something quickly for an event the next evening and went straight to a sale rack that displayed a sign that read ‘additional **% off sale price”. She chose * items which upon taking to the register none rang up on sale. When questioning the cashier she said that’s just the way it is. I further questioned situation & she got a manager who gave me the same reply & added that people just put things places & there was nothing she could do b*c she can’t override system. However when I asked her name (mishie) and said I would just send an email instead she miraculously offered to override system and give me **% off- which I declined. In light of this poorly handled and frustrating interaction in which she never put the customer *st or stood by Bloomingdale’s posted sale I would at the very least like to be compensated with a $** gift card .
GetHuman-lisaberg did not yet indicate what Bloomingdale's should do to make this right.
