Help with my Blizzard issue

Blizzard doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman-dannyant will need to dig through the advice provided by Blizzard, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Here are some instructions we've written for similar issues- hopefully GetHuman-dannyant can let us know if they help or not.
Before contacting them, items GetHuman-dannyant may need:
Email on Account, Username, Password, Game Name, Console, Game Version Type, and Name of Account Holder

If your email and password are changed on the account then there is no way to recover the account. This company has a very strict policy with recovering accounts and if anything is different then you cannot recover the account. You must have the original email or phone number on the account.
The issue in GetHuman-dannyant's own words
I Have not played since wrath of the Lich King* cataclysm and decided to come back for battle for Azeroth. Upon doing so all my characters on my main server have lost all their bags, items, gold and gear. I opened up a ticket on one of my main characters and the resolution was *** gold and a chest of green items which I couldn't even open until somebody was nice enough to give me more bags since I didn't have enough space to even open it. There must be more that can be done??? all of my characters on The forgotten coast server lost their hard-earned items and gold and yet your solution was *** gold to ONE of them. I understand that some of the logs no longer exist since it's been years but I don't understand how you intended to bring back veteran players knowing that it's almost a guarantee that your account will be compromised or hacked if you do not play for over a year. I feel as though this is an oversight that should have easily been avoidable, not to mention any items gold or bags are just code to you guys that you can manipulate at will I did not expect end game Gear or anyting I didn't earn yet however *** gold on a max level character from wrath of the Lich King who was raiding is absolutely pathetic and offencive. It goes to show that I didn't want to believe all the hype about blizzard not caring about their players but it seems to be true. If no other resolutions can be reached I will be calling customer support in order to cancel my current subscription and not going to bother starting from scratch on every character I have.
