I recently purchased the Allure iron and overall I am pleased with its performance. However, I did encounter some design flaws. The water tank cover being black makes it difficult to see the water level, requiring me to use a flashlight to check the MAX level. Similarly, the temperature dial numbers are hard to read due to the color scheme, necessitating the use of a flashlight once again. I would like to suggest making the numbers brighter and more visible in future models to improve user experience. Despite these challenges, I appreciate the functionality of the iron. While I am unable to make another purchase due to budget constraints as a retired individual on a fixed income, I hope these suggestions are taken into account for future designs. Thank you for considering these improvements. Best regards, J. K.

I have submitted a claim for my Black + Decker BPWM09W 0.9 cu. ft. Portable Washing Machine. I followed the instructions to send the required items, which were successfully received. According to the FedEx tracking, the package was delivered on Tue, 02/02/[redacted] at 12:09 pm to [redacted] Broadway, New York, NY [redacted] and received by T. Thomas. I was informed that the replacement would be sent out within 10-14 days. Can I please receive an update on the delivery status? Thank you, Jim Luongo.

After making what will be my last Black and Decker purchase, I bought the Turbo Lightweight Upright Vacuum Cleaner model BDFSE201. The instructions are all in Spanish, and even the contact number on the back of the manual is in Spanish. I do not speak Spanish, and I am unable to follow the directions to assemble the vacuum. I need assistance from someone who speaks English. I'm disappointed that there are no English instructions available, and without them, I am unable to put the vacuum together correctly. My family has always trusted Black and Decker products, but this experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I prefer having a physical manual in English with warranty information, rather than relying on online resources. I hope someone can address this issue promptly. Thank you for your help.

Last summer, I bought a battery/charger combo deal for my beloved Black and Decker drill. I've had this drill for a while, and the battery situation has been a bit of a challenge. After about three months, the Bluetooth battery stopped charging. I reached out to your chat support, provided the necessary numbers, and your representative promptly offered to send me a replacement at no cost, suggesting I recycle the old one. The new battery works great! However, now the charger has unexpectedly stopped working, with the wiring nearly falling apart. As someone who takes care of their tools and doesn't use them excessively, I'm concerned about this issue. Since both items were purchased together, I'm hoping for similar assistance as with the battery. I appreciate your help and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you!

I previously owned a steam mop, the FSM [redacted], which worked well before it became faulty. Upon purchasing the reconditioned B&D FSM 13E1, I was extremely disappointed with its design. The ball and socket handle attachment makes it precarious and prone to tipping over, especially when not positioned against a wall. Unlike the FS1600, there is no way to hang it up, the lead is too short, and it requires multiple refills for a small area. Filling it is also quite challenging compared to the older model. In comparison, the quality is subpar and I regret not investing in a Karcher mop instead. I would like a refund to contribute towards a better mop, as this purchase has been a safety concern and a waste of money. I wish to share my experience on your website to warn others about this disappointing product. This has made me reconsider future purchases from B&D. - J.H.

I bought a telescopic trowel from Stein's on 05/26/20. The handle indicates a 5-year warranty, but it cracked where it joins the handle after using it a few times last year. I also purchased the fan rake, culti hoe, and weeder which have handles that do not stay tight while in use, even when extended. I paid $9.99 for each tool and am very disappointed in their quality. Despite looking well-made, they perform poorly and are unsafe for me as an elderly woman. The collapsing handles make them all useless. Thank you for looking into this matter. Clarice K.

I bought a portable AC unit, and when I switch it on, it makes a loud rattling noise. I reached out to Black & Decker's customer service, and they directed me to "W Appliance," the manufacturer. I made two calls to W Appliance but was placed on hold for 20 minutes each time. I left messages but haven't received a response yet. Before returning the unit, I would like to see if there's a simple solution, but I am struggling to speak with a representative. Thanks. - Steve

I have experienced a recurring issue with the blade clamp on all three of the BD Scorpion saws I have owned. Initially, I attributed the problem to my disability and how I might be using the saw, but after discovering similar complaints online, I now realize it may be a common defect. I learned about a repair kit for the blade clamp, indicating a design flaw. However, I struggled to identify the type of fixing due to deeply recessed holding screws. Despite this issue, I acknowledge the saw's efficiency when it is functioning properly. I am reluctant to buy another one and considering other electric saw options. If possible, I would appreciate information on repairing the clamp.

I purchased a Black & Decker space-saving coffee maker that fits under the cabinet. Unfortunately, it leaks from the front every time I use it, causing a mess. Even when I make just 12 cups, it still leaks. I believe it needs to be replaced. I've only had it for about two or three months. If you can replace it, I am willing to return the faulty one.

I recently purchased a Black & Decker scrub buster (BHSB315J) at Walmart. I usually love Black & Decker products, but this one is a major disappointment. The first one I bought seemed faulty, so I got rid of it and bought another one. However, the second also disappoints me. It leaks badly, scatters dust everywhere, and didn't even come with a charger. Both purchases were made within a month, but the second one was acquired just a week ago. I would like a refund as I am unsatisfied with this product and would prefer to purchase something else. Thank you.

Dear Forum Members, I purchased the BLACK+DECKER BXCO850E espresso machine a few months back. Recently, I've noticed a significant change in the coffee it brews. Initially, the coffee was rich, but gradually, it has become very light, watery, and colder than usual. Even running the machine without any grounds did not resolve the issue. To address the temperature problem temporarily, I can activate the steam program with the valve closed for a few minutes. However, this doesn't fix the watery texture or excessive water output. I am unsure if this is a common problem with this model or if there is a way to reset it to its original performance. If not, I may need to consider returning the machine or utilizing the warranty. Thank you.

I purchased a Black & Decker [redacted] ft garden hose BD7207 in May [redacted] with a 10-year warranty. The hose became stiff and started leaking where it was kinked. I contacted B & D customer service and was informed the product was discontinued, and warranties are now handled by Orbit. Despite being promised an Amazon gift card for the hose's value, I have faced issues with dropped calls, unreturned calls, and delays in receiving the promised gift card. After reaching out via email, a representative offered a promo code for a free replacement hose, the Stanley [redacted] ft 5/8" Fatmax polyfusion hot water hose for $89.99 #BDS7939. Upon adding the hose to the cart with the code, I was left with a small balance, which raised concerns of a potential scam to obtain credit card information. I adjusted the order to a 50 ft hose for $59.99, still leaving a balance with the promo code. I seek assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring Black & Decker is aware of the issues with Orbit.

After getting married, my spouse and I stored our gifts for later use. Recently, I wanted to use the Black & Decker Quick and Easy appliance but found out the lid's notch was broken. The machine requires the notch to fit into a slit for it to work. I am unable to use it now and need a replacement lid. Since it was a gift from our wedding almost a year ago, I have no information on where it was purchased or who gifted it. I was disheartened not to make zucchini bread today. Can someone help me find a replacement lid for model number FP1450, type 1120V 60HZ 450W? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I was considering purchasing an attachment for my B&D blower to clean my house gutters. After reviewing your product and reading the reviews, I noticed that the picture shows a person using the blower for low gutters with only one hand. It's unclear how this setup could provide the advertised 12 feet of reach or effectively clean higher gutters as intended. The design of the product seems to have several shortcomings, particularly regarding the tubes not staying attached to the blower. As a loyal customer with multiple B&D yard tools, I am disappointed with these issues and will be taking my business elsewhere. It appears that there have been ongoing complaints from other customers about the design flaws, suggesting a need for improvements like using different bushings and eliminating the flexible pipe.

About 8 months ago, I purchased a 12-cup coffee maker from your company. Shortly after using it, I noticed an issue where I would only get 6 cups of coffee despite putting in 8 cups of water. Frustrated with the waste, I bought another one only to encounter the same problem after a few months. I am disappointed with the quality of your products and don't plan to buy another unit from your company. I reached out via email twice last week regarding this issue but have not received any response. I am dissatisfied with the lack of customer care. Sincerely, A dissatisfied customer

I own the White Black & Decker PowerPro [redacted] Watts hand mixer. Despite my efforts to use it, I find it unsatisfactory. The "lowest" speed is too fast, causing ingredients to splatter everywhere, making a mess even in a large bowl. When baking with my granddaughters, aged 11 and 10, they struggle to handle the mixer due to the intense vibration. While I value extra power, it is not suitable at the lowest speed. I have been loyal to Black & Decker appliances for years, but this mixer's lack of a true "low" setting is frustrating. Can you assist me with a replacement for this model? Thank you in advance for your support.

I purchased an electric leaf vacuum in the fall of [redacted], which broke before the warranty expired. Despite receiving a replacement in the spring of next year, I could only use it in the fall of [redacted]. The unit only turned on once and never worked again. I filed a claim under the new warranty for a refund. After a long wait and reaching out to customer service, they initially refused a refund but offered a rechargeable replacement within 10-14 days. I was later contacted by Maria Trujillo via email with a refund offer, which I declined as I was already offered a replacement. It is now February [redacted], and I have yet to receive the promised replacement. Despite numerous interactions with customer service, their latest email claims they won't refund or replace due to an expired warranty, which is incorrect. While I am open to a refund at this point, I still prefer to receive the replacement as initially promised.

I own an HLVA320J Type 2 hand vacuum from your company, and I am quite pleased with its performance so far. Recently, while cleaning its catch chamber, I accidentally dislodged the "flapper" that traps dirt and tore a part of it. I tried to fix it with super glue, but it will likely need to be replaced. I searched online for a replacement part without success, so I am reaching out to your customer service for guidance. The missing piece is a thin, black, rubbery rectangle (1" X 2") with a unique "ear" on one side. Could you assist me in finding a replacement for this part or provide a part number? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, R. Jensen.

My coffee grinder and brewer are no longer directing the water into the carafe. Despite cleaning it with CLR and regular use for two years, it stopped loading coffee into the carafe yesterday and today. I replaced the original carafe two months ago with one from another Black & Decker machine I had. It seems the issue might be that the carafe does not align properly with the drip mechanism while in operation. Consequently, hot water ends up evaporating through the grinder's top vent or overflowing. I need assistance to fix this problem so I can enjoy my morning coffee again!

I purchased a B&D air conditioner in July of [redacted]. The unit stopped blowing cold air after 2 months. I submitted a warranty claim, sent back the defective unit, and received a replacement. No paperwork was included, but the shipping label on pic 2 provides model number and replacement details. The second replacement also failed after several months, and another warranty claim was accepted (pic3). I've returned the defective unit with the prepaid label (pic 4). I was informed that the second unit is irreparable. However, I haven't received any further communication from B&D. Emails remain unanswered, and phone inquiries only confirm that no tracking number has been issued for the replacement. I would appreciate receiving unit number 3 promptly to resolve this issue. Thank you. - Thomas G. [redacted] Arbor Lane, South Elgin, IL [redacted].
