Hello I am writing about my nightmare shopping experience with “Best” Buy. I would first like to say that my family has made some nice purchases from Best Buy but I think maybe I should start warning people to stop. You see this year my senior citizen mom purchased a tv from online for my diabetic dad and had it delivered to the house. Yup it was broken. Great these things happen.... so we were able to return it ( but I had to fork up the return money to send a broken tv back) and yeah I am unemployed at the moment. That’s ok I was happy to get it off our hands. Then we “traded in” for another Visio (same exact one) as I took it out of the box it didn’t have the legs attached so it flopped on it’s back side. Anyways I put the tv together and it was broken also. I have dropped my iPad many times and thankfully it’s not broken. This tv was on the ground and it just fell on its back u know like a baby that can’t stand up straight. How could it break from that? The thing is because I didn’t plug this thing in so I couldn't be ***% certain and Best Buy thinks I broke it but both of my parents think that the tv would not be broken by what I did. A theory is that Best is sending our family broken TVs. Maybe I should ask my lawyer friend about why Best Buy is making these types of choices to choose to send a return label email and then not accepting the tv itself. Maybe I should make a study on how many broken tv’s are returned to Best Buy a year and how many people end up not being able to return them. Since I do have the time perhaps I can even YouTube my thoughts on this. Anyways my mom has spent countless hours of stress because of these TVs and I want to know if Best Buy will do anything for us. They sent us the new return label email but we couldn’t print it out. Drove to a store and tried to return it but they wouldn’t take it. How can you deny a person after already sending a return label email? To be honest I was hoping Best Buy would actually do something to show my family they are “Best” Buy but so far this year it’s kind Nightmare Buy. Oh and just letting you know I don’t usually write passionately aggressive emails if I had a job I would buy my mom * TVs but I can’t and this $*** broken tv has actually caused a lot of emotional stress for me and my mom. I know that whoever read this email it is personally not your fault but I hope you would take the time and your power in helping us. Driving around during a pandemic is not the most comfortable thing.
