I don’t have an electronics problem. I had a problem with Best Buy. I saw a promotion online for a ring video doorbell and chime bundle plus a free echo show *. I called the store in Barboursville, WV to see if they would honor the deal. They said they would, so I went there to make the purchase. I thought it all came in one box, but when I got home I discovered the echo was separate. I called Best Buy Customer Service to see how to handle it. A woman told me she would put in an order and send it in that night. I talked to her for ** minutes or so, and she told me she would put in an order to the Barboursville store, and I could pick it up the next day. I hung up about **:** pm. She called back, but I didn’t get to my phone in time. She left me a message saying she needed more payment information before she could place the order. I called back at **:** and got someone else on the phone. He didn’t know whom I had talked to, so I was going to have to go through the same thing again. I told him I didn’t have the time to go through all of that again because I had something I had to do. Plus, it was already late. I called Customer Service the next morning, and explained my situation again. She said it would be no problem for me to go in the store and pick up the echo. She said just speak to the manager. The manager told me he couldn’t help me because the promotion was over. I explained what happened, and he said he still couldn’t help me. I returned what I had purchased because I only purchased it for the deal which I didn’t get. I cal Customer Service in the way home, and the lady told me she was sorry I had been treated so poorly, and she said she would send me an echo. When she found out I had returned my purchase, she told me she could no longer help me. I called the store manager and told him what had just happened. He just said that he wasn’t the one who told me to return it. He also didn’t tell me I had the option to call customer service to get help that could override him. He said he didn’t know that was possible. I just gave up. I have been a good customer at Best Buy, but that didn’t matter.
