I placed an order in your Burlington Massachusetts store on Sunday, August ** for a Sony ** inch television set. It was tax free weekend in Massachusetts so I was expecting to save almost $** in sales tax. I was offered multiple delivery dates so I chose Wednesday morning. I received a text and an email stating that my delivery was on its way and would arrive in about ** minutes. After three hours I called about the order and I was told that the item was not available and I would have to go back to the store physically and pick out another TV. I was out raged that I was not notified of this and had to call on my own. I then had to drive back to the store good to speak to someone and your customer service department in Burlington really could’ve cared less about what happened. When I complained about the fact that if I had to go back and buy the TV somewhere else I would lose the savings of the sales tax. The response was that I should drive to New Hampshire to save the tax money. From start to finish I am a palled by the service I received from anyone associated with Best Buy and I have been a long-time customer. My order number is ************* which by the way I cancelled. The order was for ***.** so it was quite substantial but your employees didn’t really seem to care about the size of the order and the service was really poor . Someone should’ve addressed of the fact that it will now cost me an extra $** to purchase this TV from another vendor because I doubt that I will ever purchased from Best Buy again.
