The Best Buy* Geek squad in Fort Collins, Colorado is an absolute joke. I took my computer in on **** with a broken hinge. After a week of diagnostics, they told me the hinge and screen needed replacement. I told them I approved the repairs and they said my computer would be ready for pick up around ***. It is now **** and my computer is still waiting in parts at the service center. I have not been updated AT ALL on the issue and have had to go out of my way to go INTO the store twice to ask for an update. If I call the help line, I sit on hold forever. It is basic customer service to at least update your paying customer on delays, especially a * week delay. When I told the associate at the store this he said he has no way to get updates from the service center. If that is true, you need a better system in place because this is insane. I work from home for a nonprofit and this was my personal computer I use for work. This has been a major inconvenience in getting my day to day job done. Of course my company has given me a loner computer, but it is not the same as having my own that I set up how I want it for work. I completely understand delays happen but ANY form of communication would have been nice. I found out today the parts are still not in so I’m guessing I at least have another month without my computer. I will never use geek squad again.
