I was trying to find out about Roku. I wanted to buy one and was told that the one I wanted was not is stock. I know that Best Buy will price match so I asked why it was $**.** when I saw it on Amazon for $**.** at which point he told me (and this is without my ever showing him what I saw on Amazon) that version is * years old and said it like I was an idiot and should know that. I noticed th... ... I have a complaint about an experience I had at the Best Buy **** Columbus Blvd in South Philadelphia today. I want to speak to the manager of this Best Buy or I want the number of the US President's office at Best Buy. In fact I would like to have both. I was on hold for **:** minutes finally the phone rang and I was hung up on. I need to speak to someone about this.
I was especially frustrated because I didn't see any manager on the floor to which I could direct this complaint. Also, I asked nicely for assistance and this guy had a bad attitude.
I think I should be compensated for the several phone calls I made. I first the store and was left on hold forever. I hung and called you speak to a human line. They transferred me back to the store where I was on hold for **:** minutes and then hung up on without getting to speak to anyone. I usually get paid $**.** an hour so for the time I spent in the store and on the phone trying to get through to you, I think I should get at least a $**.** gift certificate and your assurance that you will send this man back for retraining or get him off the customer floor.
I have been a customer for years and expected the great customer service I received in February and the great customer service I received several years ago when I bought my Samsung laptop.
As explained above, I made several calls and reported my experience to the cashier. When I called the store number I was holding for quite some time and then some woman answered the phone and kept asking me which department I told her *x the department with the TVs and the Roku and I explained that I did not want to speak to a salesman I wanted to speak to a manager. She instead told me that she would transfer me to that sales department and I should ask then for a manager. I was on hold and no one picked up the call. I then called your talk to a human number and spoke to someone who again transferred my call to the same store and told me this time I would be able to speak to a manager. I was then on hold for **:** minutes and when it finally rang again I was hung up on.

I cannot say enough good things about Dan, the manager of the TV*Home Theatre Department. I called the store and although it was very hard to get through I finally got through to Dan who apologized for the ignorant and undignified way I was treated and totally resolved the situation to my complete satisfaction. It restored my faith in Best Buys. I had always received excellent customer service at Best Buys prior to yesterday so I knew it was not the norm. Dan assured me that the sales associate was way out of line and that the situation with him would also be addressed. If you go to Best Buys, ask for Dan, the managaer of the TV*Home Theatre section. You will certainly be glad you did.
