The issue in GetHuman-amirsolk's own words
Took the car in (**** Mercedes Benz CLK***, convertible) to install blue tooth on my car GPS system. Made the appointment * weeks in advance, to drop the car off on a day’s sign of “Murffy’s Law” they could find the appointment for the following day, they had to call the installer in to find the appointment. Then we went over all the specifics and so far so good. Meanwhile the convertible top is down and was in working condition, left the car and picked up the car the next day. The installer went over the system with me and I was satisfied with the work at this time. This car is mostly parked on the garage and I hardly use is. I had a trip to make few days later and want it to take the when I found out the top is not in operation. I minor issue that day was a rainy day in So Cal and wasn’t able to put the top back so I had to rush home from work to put the car back dock in the garage and take my othe car for the trip! I called my Mercedes technician and told him about this and his first response was “usually these guys cut of the wrong power supply wire, take it back to them and they should be able to fix it”*Also The Bluetooth phone is not working either so I called the the store that installed the equipment and explained to the Geek that what happened and he is claiming that he didn’t tap into anything except the lighter power...well here is the thing, all I know I took the car in with all power equipments in working condition and when I got the car back the soft top system was not working. I went back to the store today to seek a resolution from the installer and the manager in charge and what you got in return an unsatisfactory response to the tune of “well this what it is and if you want this issue to be looked make an appointment” *NOT HAPPY...*FYI I’m having the car looked at by a qualified Mercedes Benz technician and the will be transfer to Best Buy once I make the claim*Thank you*Kayvan
