Hello, my email is: *****@***.com * I received as a gift for Christmas a box containing PHILLIPS hue white bulbs (*). I also received a Google Home Hub, both item purchased at Best Buy. As time went on I decided to try the bulbs with my hub. I opened the box and put one bulb in a lamp. I thought the hub would pick it up, but of course it didn’t. I read about it and realized I needed a PHILLIPS bridge for it to work. I didn’t want to spend more money to purchase a bridge, so I decided to return the bulbs. Today is January **rd and the bulbs were purchased on December **th. I did read on the receipt your policy on returning items purchased during the holidays. But I didn’t read it until today, after I tried to return it. The manager told me about the policy and couldn’t accept the return. I explained to him I have no use for these bulbs and I know no one who could use them. I also told him I am a regular customer at Best Buy and would appreciate if he would make an exception. He said there is nothing he can do. I understand policy’s and I have worked with the public in retail for over ** years. I am very surprised he did not even make an attempt to try and help me. I know he was “just” doing his job, but as a customer and understanding policy’s I also understand you try to satisfy the customer, especially a good customer. The manager seemed like a nice guy and handled the situation to the best of his ability. I just think he could have gone that extra mile and even though it was a policy...sometimes to satisfy a customer you adjust so called policy to please your customer so he keeps coming back to your store and doesn’t go elsewhere. I guess what I am looking for is an e-mail telling me to return to the store with the e-mail approving my exchange. * Thank you in advance...Phil Kutz
