I have gone out of my way three (*) separate times to go to the Best Buy in Downers Grove, Il on Butterfield Rd. *****. For a cell phone. I went in and the one I wanted was there. I was told that they would "hold it for me" and I left to get my credit card. I came back later and it was gone! An on-line order. So, I went back another day and time-this morning. None there. The site had indicated availability. Anyway, I asked the Best Buy sales rep if they could order it for me and I would pick it up as a "will call". "NO", they don't do that. I would have to drive a total of ** miles, round trip, to pick it up in either Melrose Park, Il or...I don't have that time or gas money..So, I asked if I could place it on-line. Sure. The same thing that I asked of him.I did it at my lunch time from work. Now, my very valid Discover Credit Card number and security code..since ****..don't go through on your system. The total order is for $ **.**..I and my two (*) adult daughters and their families shop at Best Buy all of the time. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS, at all! I HAVE WASTED MORE TIME AND MONEY AND GASOLINE GOING BACK AND FORTH TO THIS BEST BUY!!! MORE THAN THE ORDER IS EVEN WORTH! Maybe, Best Buy, if they want to retain me a customer and my daughters and families..can figure out how to get me this order...Or LOSE ALL OF US AS CUSTOMERS! I'm ** y*o and shop at Best Buy all of the time. Since day one! There is a lot of competition in this area!
