Purchased Dell Inspiron **** invoice **************** on Nov ** **** to support * month cruise starting ** Jan **** to allow loading and testing prior to departure. On ** January **** screen started jittering and failing. The Geek Squad stead the earliest they can have it troubleshoot was **Jan **** and that to have a computer for the trip I should buy another computer. Then return the second computer when I get back. Tried returning failed computer but was informed outside the return window. Note, if I bought a replacement computer from Best Buy, it would be returned after * months also outside the ** day window. As such I have purchased another computer from B&H to cover the trip and am contacting my Visa platinum company for further options. Note, the Trumbull CT Sunday evening manager indicated that anything I did WRT the payments would be considered fraud. Having purchased over * computers with Best Buy over the last ** years I am sorry this has soured my confidence. Please also note that your site should indicate that no hardware troubleshooting or repairs are accomplished at local outlets and a minimum of two weeks service is required for anything other than software as explained to me by your Geek Squad and store manager. Sincerely.
