I recently purchased a GE, side by side refrigerator and it was delivered on December **, ****. We also purchased the correct wiring for installation. Our salesman told us exactly what to buy and made it clear that the refrigerator would be installed properly. *When the refrigerator was delivered, they refused to install with the wires that we purchased. He said they couldn’t install with what we purchased. They simply plugged the refrigerator in without hooking up the water and ice. We also found out later *that they did not push the shelves in far enough inside the freezer. Later that day, excessive amounts of moisture began forming on the outside of the refrigerator. Excessive amounts of frost began forming in the freezer, covering everything (all food) inside. We had to keep towels on the floor. Also, the freezer door would not close all the way. We had to place a chair in front of it to keep it closed. *Every few hours, the refrigerator makes a really loud noise. It is loud enough to wake everyone up at night. *After three days, the refrigerator side began to leak water. *As you can imagine, this has been a disaster. I also had to throw away a large amount food, as the temperature inside was not correct. *We purchased the refrigerator at Best Buy in Marina, California on December **, **** from Larry. *Larry is sending us another refrigerator on Thursday. I am worried that we purchased a defective model. I am worried that the delivery men will not install the refrigerator properly. I am upset that I lost over $*** worth of groceries.*We have been very good customers of Best Buy for many years and this is the first time we have experienced anything like this. *We are very upset, after spending a large amount of money on the refrigerator. *We are hoping that this will be handled appropriately or we will have to purchase elsewhere. *Thank you,*Toni Lakind
