I live in a community that does not have a best buy store. i went online and saw a LG ** inch in Destin Fl. That is *** miles from my home. When i arrived at **:** the next morning **-**-** i was told the tv was not available but i could drive to the Pensacola Fl store . that is another one hour and ** minutes from Destin FL. i was shown a Samsung that was priced as the same as the LG. Seemed OK however the sales person told me about a open box Samsung that was on the floor and had been checked out by the store and was perfectly ok. i asked him if all the parts were in the box. He assured me they were. When i gone home last night the box did not contain the screws to secure the legs to the TV. I called the Destin Best Buy store and waited online for ** minutes and no one answered the phone. I then drove to Prattville Ala store last night. Upon arrival i spoke with Store representatives and told them my story. One comment concerned me when the GEEK squad representative made the comment if did not know if they could accept a open box return from another store. i asked him if the stores were both owned by Best Buy. the managers did discuss the issue and agreed to take my return SINCE THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY SCREWS FOR MY TV.*I BOUGHT ANOTHER TV AT FULL PRICE. THE SAME ONE THAT WAS LIKE THE OPEN BOX TV FROM DESTIN FL.
