On ******** I was introduced to Tommy Riccitelli by another Best Buy tech after inquiring about a GPS for my truck.*Initially I inquired about a GPS with Bluetooth capabilities.*Upon meeting Tommy I inquired about the availability of such equipment for my truck, **** Nissan Titan.*Tommy seemed to understand and informed me that such a product did exist and could do an aftermarket installation into my existing GPS screen that was not working on my truck. The product was explained, but required connections to assure its operating features to my truck.*Parts were ordered and appointment was set up for November *th.* Install was completed and I was called to pick the truck up at approximately *:** pm, the * th of November.*I acknowledged and asked if I could pick up the truck the next day...Tommy, himself, said “that would be fine” and stated he would park the truck overnight in the shop. Approximately ** minutes later, he called me back to inform me that the new install would create a visual hindrance to my existing heat indicator. I was not visualizing his concern and we decided we’d talk about upon picking the truck up, the next morning .* **This was the install.... my CD player and a few other connections were removed*To place this unit in. The upper factory installed GPS screen was left in and now partially hidden by the new screen.***My CD player and facial plate were on my floorboard.***To give the reader a visual, to the right is my old face of the dash and to the left of it is the newly installed unit, after removals. The fit was not exact and protruded the dashboard now blocking the upper screen. The toggle switch on the old screen also not included in this new facia , no longer giving me control to my upper screen vehicle diagnostic readings.**Tommy, politely began to explain the new unit and its radio features when I asked about the GPS function. “Oh, that’s right”, he said......picked up the box in which the unit came in and began to read it. Tommy then said there seems to be a phone application that you can get to retrieve this for your phone.**I cannot tell you how devastated I was..... not only did I not get the GPS I originally wanted , I had my factory installed dash and components removed without so much as a call. The only screen discussed be replaced was the upper one which remained in partial operation..**This truck only ** days earlier had been diagnosed and updated by a local mechanic . (Complete). *Approximately * days prior to that it was inspected by a local dealership for a possible trade in on a new truck. ( all available)**On top of this misfortune, the dash of my truck was scratched along with my outside right fender, to the front of the passenger door.*****After arranging the removal and replacement of my old parts I contacted the MOD, Mathew McDougall. Mr. McDougall politely listened to my concern and complaints.**My appointment for my truck is tomorrow at the Coeur d’Alene store.*My desire is to be totally satisfied with this replacement and my trucks diagnostic implements on my dash working along my CD unit and damage fixed.*I am asking that this work be monitored by management to insure proper installation on all levels.**Respectfully.*S.A.
