Clarity is needed within the Mystery Rewards Program reward value including a request for removal of the "rogue" link (the first one on google when typing bestbuy mystery rewards) that takes you to a page saying "Congratulations! Your Mystery Rewards Offer* is ***,*** My Best Buy* Points! (etc)" which is especially confusing on mobile as it opens in the Best Buy app (iOS) and makes it seem like you won...**Unfortunately for me, with a bit of research, I have come to the conclusion that while I am a "winner" it is for $* rather than $*,***...**I genuinely almost had a freak out moment both when I initially thought I had just won $**** in rewards as well as after some research when I found out that the page was in fact not meant for me and my account, but rather a generic landing page that winners get... I now understand that you have to go into the store to reveal your reward and not a link that, while it goes to the official Bestbuy.com domain and seemingly reveals you're the big winner does not actually pertain to you... I only found out that I was not actually a big winner after some research where a few sites revealed that if your code ends in a certain set of * digits, its worth $*, of which includes my code...*Even the wording and inclusion of "***,*** points: Call toll-free number printed on receipt by **:**:** PM local time on ********" near the end of Step * on the print out was horribly confusing, even when it was preceded by stating that you need to scan it in store to reveal your reward value. It's obvious to me that slapping a big ol' "***,*** POINTS, CALL THIS NUMBER" plastered as the last sentence at the end of Step * will make you forget what you just read and inevitably confuse people like it did me.**I am sad and disappointed and frustrated all at the same time, not because I didn't win, but rather because of the confusion that was caused rather than just telling me wither or not I had won $* or $*,*** right then and there. Even the normal redeemed reward certificates on your account tell you the value upfront. I'm trying not to be negative about the situation, but in hindsight it certainly seems as though the phrasing seems an awful lot like it was intentionally designed to get more people in store in hopes that they just won big, only to be let down upon the reveal of the real value of their reward.***Aforementioned link: https:**www.bestbuy.com*site*clp*mystery-rewards-certificate*pcmcat*************.c?id*pcmcat***************Duped by and found from typing in "best buy mystery rewards" without quotes into Google. Should be the first link.
