I preordered an iPhone XS from US Cellular and wanted to purchase a phone case before I got the phone. However when I was in the Concord NH Best Buy looking for cases I didn’t see any that I was particularly in love with so I was going to leave and check other stores. As I was walking out an associate approached me and offered his assistance. I was pleased and asked if they had any more phone cases (thinking I may have missed a section) and to my surprise he led me to another aisle of cases. Once again nothing struck my fancy but at this point the associate was basically begging me to purchase a case and started creating some sort of “package deal” for me. He told me that if I purchased a case and a screen protector he would throw in a charger for free. Now this sparked my attention so I decided to pick out the case I thought would work the best for my needs while he got a screen protector and phone charger. He didn’t give me a chance to look at the screen protector or charger but rang everything up in a rush and had me on my way. The next day I received my new phone in the mail so I put the phone case and screen protector on my phone but immediately hated the case so I took it off to return because I didn’t really want to buy it in the first place. I went back into the store later that day to see if they would allow me to exchange the phone case - no I was not! So I tried to return the phone case in original packaging and unopened charger but obviously couldn’t return the screen protector since it is still stuck onto my phone. The customer service person couldn’t figure out what this “deal” I had received was and because of that they refused to give me my money back in full. They were trying to offer me something like $** dollars for a $** case! So I kept my purchases and said I’d return on another day hoping to see the original associate so he could help explain how he charged me for this “deal” and get me my money back. When I came back, he was not there and the woman at the customer service desk this time had the same issue as before and developed an attitude with me when I tried explaining my prior experiences to her. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed and simply would like my money back in full for the brand new unused items I still have. I don’t know if I was scammed or what exactly happened but it is unfortunate that no one seems to be able to help me. **Hopefully this can be easily resolved!
