Dear Mr.*MS Best Buy,**Today I tried to purchase a laptop computer at your Lady Lake, FL store. Part of my payment included e-mail printouts of two Best Buy e-Gift Cards. The first one worked (came directly from Best Buy) but the Best Buy employee refused to accept the second one because it did not include a BAR CODE. Even though the Card Number was valid, the Security Code was valid, the $ Amount was valid and the printout clearly stated "REDEEM IN STORE”, "REDEEM ONLINE", your store would not accept the e-Gift Card. So, NO SALE.**I spoke with a number of employees within the store who told me nothing more could be done without the BAR CODE (because they have no way to enter the Card Number into their Check-out Devices and needed the BAR CODE) and advised me to contact Customer Service and have the e-Gift Card reissued with a BAR CODE.**After almost * hours of multiple telephone calls with Best Buy Customer Service, CASHSTAR and Best Buy e-Gift Card department, no one offered any solution because this e-Gift Card came through ** said the Best Buy e-Gift Card is ordered by them directly to Best Buy and the resultant e-Gift Card data and format was supplied directly from Best Buy. The missing BAR CODE is something Best Buy needed to resolve but they would escalate this issue to their Management for further clarification.**This borders on fraud. At the end of the day I had a valid Gift Card with a Valid Gift Card Number, a valid Security Code, a valid $ Amount in the card and the printout clearly stated "REDEEM IN STORE”, "REDEEM ONLINE".**Sad commentary. **Please help get this resolved as soon as possible.
