We ordered a tv stand on ****, which was scheduled for delivery on Tuesday July **, between * and **pm. The package was delivered instead on July **th, without any notice. We noticed smudges on the wood but assumed that it wouldn't be on the part that was visible. Unfortunately after building the unit, we noticed smear type spots all around the top and bottom edges, dark smudges and bubbles on the top front side.The piece is white and in the light, those imperfections are defnitely noticeable. To make matters worse, we have already built the unit which makes it a huge inconvenience to disassemble it, box it up and have someone pick it up. We immediately called Best Buy Customer Service, for a solution, and were told that they could only provide a small insignificant refund about the equivalent of the tax we paid on it. We have spent quite a bit of money at Best Buy over the years and I am more than sure that you are able to provide a more appropriate compensation than a ** percent credit. Keep in mind that it will cost Best Buy much more money if we disassemble the stand, box it up, then have someone come pick it up and deliver another one. I am happy to provide pictures that will show the poor quality of the unit, if necessary. Your prompt attention to provide a more reasonable compensation for this is most appreciated.
