For the second time in the past month, my online order was canceled. The last time this happened, I checked my bank website and the charge had been accepted by my bank. I then called my bank and was informed the problem was not on their end. They had accepted the charge and it was still showing as pending. I knew the item was in stock, so I went to Best Buy and explained what happened. They said they'd had other complaints about this problem. Today I stupidly placed another order through Best Buy and the same thing happened again. Once again they blamed my bank when I can look on the site and see that the charge was accepted. I then ordered the same item from Target with THE SAME CREDIT CARD rejected by Best Buy. I just received a notice from Target that my order is ready to pick up. I went back to the Best Buy website to lodge a complaint. No luck there. Live chat is unavailable. The feedback link does not work (tried three different browsers), there is no electronic way of reaching customer service. Target can my online orders, why can't Best Buy? I wanted to use the $** reward I have at Best Buy, but now I'm just going to have to say goodbye to Best Buy and forfeit the $**. This is not hard, people!! So what do I want? Nothing at this point. DO BETTER! I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would make me return to Best Buy, but I did want to express my frustration. My biggest complaint, which is my ** pet peeve with all retailers, is when they put the blame on someone else. I am an obsessive internet shopper. Over the past couple of months, I've spent thousands across multiple retailers with the same card with no problems. This problem is not my bank or my credit card, it is Best Buy inability to join the **st century and properly handle credit card payments.
