A gift card from Best Buy in Phoenix Arizona for $*** on ********. I put the card with original receipt into my wallet. On ********, bestbuy.com to make a purchase using my card. It came up as insufficient funds, so I proceeded to call the number on the back of the gift card to find out that there was only $** left on the card I tried calling the card again to speak to someone they were closed I also tried calling Best Buy's * *** number and they were closed it was around ** at night so the next morning I finally got ahold of somebody and they connected me with Best Buy fraud department. The fraud department look up the transaction and told me that it had been used at a Best Buy in Las Vegas on April *th at **** to purchase a home security system and a thermostat for a home. The purchase was made on Arroyo center in Las Vegas, NV. He also told me that my card was the last of five used for this transaction which is why I mine still had a balance it was a total of $*** used off of my card. The Best Buy fire department assured me that it was fried that they realize it was fired and they would do everything in their power to help me get my card back he gave me instructions on what to do then I proceeded to call Phoenix Police Department I called Las Vegas Police Department I called the the Best Buy store in Las Vegas I've called back to the fraud department customer service I have done everything that he asked me to do and I've also made other calls to find out if there's anything more that I can do I've not gotten any answers of what the next step is or what I can do or who's doing anything. I've gotten nothing but the runaround and I am out $***. I understand that there is a procedure for this kind of thing to happen which is what the fraud department assured me I was following procedure I've waited * months to call back because I know that things do take time but I am highly upset about the service that I received today I was told that I will not get anything back and that the person that I spoke with was the highest that there is in the company and I cannot go any further. Now I have done everything to my ability and would like some cooperation on your end I would like to get the $*** back it's been * months of me sitting here without that $*** that belongs to me and I have provided Best Buy with all the information needed the police report number everything to keep getting the runaround and it's not right that I'm sitting here without my money and somebody has used it and you guys have not done anything about it when I've done everything on my end so yes please I would like another gift card for $*** something to be done it's been going on long enough
