I have been a bell customer for over * years with no problems. In the last * months I have been overcharged data twice. I was overcharged data on my original * *** *** ****. The customer service agent added data for $** to avoid the charges but then since have not removed that **$ charge as promised. This data usage happened (according to customer service rep) during a time when I was still at home connected to my Wi-Fi. It was also during a new billing cycle for data, so no way I could have used that much data in ** minutes as describe by customer service agent. I expressed concern that my data never reset with the new billing cycle. My history of data usage proves that this was an error on Bell mobility's end of things. Some of the customer service agents I speak to, don't take notes or record our conversations or what was discussed properly. I have also been treated poorly on the phone with customer service and often have employees telling me they will reverse the charges and never do. I also got another phone *** *** **** with Bell and requested from the beginning that it have no access to data. I again confirmed on May *th that it have no access to data. The response was yes, this phone has no data access. It has not used any data......which was a lie and I now have a bill well over $*** because of used data on that number. Due to an error on Bells end and not blocking data the * times as requested I have charges that should not have been incurred. I am asking for a refund of those charges. according to the Statement of Consumer Rights (SCR) which states the following: “Refunds for billing errors: You should inform your phone company if you notice that your telephone bill includes a charge that should not have been billed or that was overbilled. You have the right to receive a refund for any billing error as long as you report it within a set period of time. Billing errors for recurring charges, such as monthly local telephone service, must be disputed within one year, while billing errors for non-recurring charges, such as directory assistance charges, must be disputed within *** days of the date of the bill. Any refund that you receive for a billing error should also be credited with interest” *I am asking for a refund of $***.** due to an error by Bell employees and an error with data usage calculations. *Can you please help me with this.
