This will help us serve you better.................*Sylvain *EY***** told me to escalate my problem to the Management and Head Office even President's office....I am waiting for Bell to mail me a Fibe receiver after mine was defective. No signal....* times I call Bell and they tell me to unplug the back power from the receive...wait...replug. Finally on Saturday image...not no image. I rent my Fibe receiver equipment. To be certain that it was not my TV I bought a new one so as to not risk being charged for the technician's services if it was my TV that was defective. Technician told me that my receiver was defective after troubleshooting. He said he would go to the truck to get a new receiver and brought it in a box, opened, left the box here, the old receiver should be mailed back in the box...left...* minutes later...a new problem...I troubleshoot and it is not my equipment but again the Bell receiver. I call Bell, clients services closed so I speak to a tech guy....MY EQUIPMENT IS REFURBISHED. At age **, having done business with Bell for over ** years....I learn that my rental contract does not guarantee new equipment...just comparable functionality or replacement of refurbished equipment with more refurbished because there is no limit to how old the equipment is or how many times the equipment has been refurbished. Welcome to Bell terms of service page * " Bell may, in its discretion and at any time, replace any part of the Bell Equipment with new or refurbished equipment of comparable functionality." So equipment that does not function or has zero functionality can be replaced with more equipment that is non functional....yet I continue to pay full dollar for Salvation army quality equipment that can be bought and sold on Kijiji. I am furious that I have to spend hours on the phone with Bell only to be told that my "new equipment" from the warehouse in Ontario may also be refurbished and there may be a neverending frustration and dissatisfaction for the value I am receiving. Your faulty equipment could damage my TV with continuous rebooting and unplugging and no signal and there is no liability at all other than giving me free service for the days I had no service...over and over again...while I make calls, stay home for the technician...waste my time learning all about Bell as though I am auditioning for work as a Bell employee. So since Saturday night I watch a small tv in my bedroom because I do not want to risk damaging my new TV in case the other receiver is also refurbished and can conk out at any time. It is Thursday...still no receiver...I do not live in third world country...I live * miles from the head office of Bell on Nun's Island. I am not a one cell phone plan client spending $** a month. I spend hundreds for my two households and cell phone for my husband Joseph and I and my daughter. Yet I feel that there is no quality or brand value left with Bell. I should pay less and you should make less profits for refurbished equipment. A one time payment of $**.** is not enough. I want this matter resolved or I will go to Consumer Protection and ask to have a public review of Bell's contract and services and equipment as I am not the only person with this issue.
