I have a FasTrak Flex account and toll tag. I've been charged multiple times for using the Contra Costa Express Lanes with two people in my car, while the tag was set to two people as well. This error depleted my FasTrak account, with an extra $25 taken from my debit card unexpectedly, causing my bank account to go negative. According to the FasTrak website, the Contra Costa Express Lanes should be toll-free for carpoolers. I was incorrectly charged over $23 in a single day, despite being a FasTrak Flex toll tag holder and carpooling, which should be toll-free for account holders from 5 am to 8 pm. This situation is unacceptable. I request a refund for all the charges on my FasTrak Flex account and a reimbursement for the $25 taken from my debit card, which should not have occurred originally.

I have paid for Fastrak for both my cars but have not received the windshield devices. My Fastrak number is [redacted]3. The email associated with the account is [redacted] The names on the Fastrak account are Robert Allan Black and Patricia O'Keefe. The registered address is [redacted] 30th Court SE, Olympia, WA [redacted]. Despite paying, I am being accused of evading tolls, which is incorrect and unfair. I am currently in Arizona after attending film festivals and would appreciate speaking with a real person from Fastrak to resolve this issue. I can be reached at [redacted]. I have tried contacting Fastrak by phone with no success and would like assistance as I have not received the necessary devices for my registered cars. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have not been using any bridges, but I keep receiving significant charges from Fastrak. Unfortunately, I have not been able to reach a human being at Fastrak as there is a long wait time on hold. I have sent a letter but have not received a response. It seems like there may be fake transponders or some other issue with the system. I have been homebound since February and have not crossed a bridge since December 5, [redacted]. I recently received a fine for evading payment, even though I always use my transponder when crossing a bridge. This has also happened to my husband. We rarely cross bridges, so something seems amiss. I have seen similar complaints on Ripoff.com, and it appears there may be a larger issue at hand. I am struggling to handle these unfair charges that I did not incur and need assistance with this matter.

I am trying to resolve a billing issue, but it has been frustrating. It took five hours to reach a human representative with one-hour wait times, and I kept getting disconnected around the thirty-minute mark during five attempts. The voice recognition system was also poor, as it continuously misunderstood "Representative" for the number "Zero." Every time I redialed the same customer service number, I encountered a different message saying they were not taking calls. Despite facing these challenges, I tried multiple times until I reached the original recording with a woman's voice, struggled with voice recognition again, and was disconnected after thirty minutes. Tip: Fastrak does have a human chat function, but it's only accessible when logged into your online account, which was frustrating to discover.

I am seeking guidance on disputing a toll invoice. I have received a notice regarding an alleged violation on 08/17/21 on the Benicia-Martinez bridge, linked to my license plate 6MIC722, with invoice number #[redacted][redacted]. As a 76-year-old retired individual who has resided in Southern CA for the past 40 years, it is concerning that I have not been in Northern CA or driven in that area for 25 years. I am in ownership of a Nissan Altima, however, the use of my license plate in this instance appears to be fraudulent. I am keen to understand the process for disputing this charge. Unfortunately, the online assistance suggests waiting a week before calling, while the invoice specifies a payment due date of the 23rd, creating a time conflict in resolving this matter.

I reside in Redlands, CA and recently received a toll bill from the Bay Area. Despite not having visited the Bay Area, the picture they provided is quite dark, possibly showing my van's grill with the first 2 plate characters resembling mine. However, due to the poor image quality, I cannot confirm. On the day the toll was issued at 9:42 pm, I had a medical appointment in Redlands until about 2:30 pm, making the timeline of reaching the bridge and back seem improbable as I care for three disabled individuals. This situation seems like a remarkable coincidence with another Dodge Caravan sharing similar plate characters. I need guidance on disputing this issue.

I recently submitted the following note to Bay Area Fastrak online regarding my issue. The website indicates that a representative will contact me within five days. I attempted to call, but with it being Saturday, they were closed. I plan to call again on Monday, although it may be too soon for them to have reviewed my note. I anticipate needing to describe the situation verbally, although I am concerned about being believed. In the note, I offered to obtain a letter from my doctor to confirm my health situation and hospitalization throughout October due to severe illness. The note I sent to Fastrak explained the circumstances of my very late payment. In September, I fell extremely ill and spent most of October in the hospital on three separate occasions. I had not checked my mail during this period, and my husband, who is 87 years old and sometimes forgetful, only informed me of the bill moments ago. I tried to make the payment promptly upon discovery but encountered difficulties likely due to the extensive delay. If necessary, I can provide a doctor's letter as validation. I deeply regret this oversight, as it is atypical of me to be overdue with payments. Attempts to call on the weekend were unsuccessful, but I will try again on Monday. My sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I require assistance with my Bay Area Fastrak account. I have the transponder number and have been a member for many years. However, when I log in, I receive a message stating, "unable to find an account matching the information provided." I attempted contacting the automated [redacted] number, but I can't reach a live person for assistance. Despite trying numerous options, I have been unsuccessful in speaking to a representative. This situation is very frustrating. - L. Spurlock

Hello, my name is Lotfurrahman Hamid. I recently arrived in the US from Afghanistan and now reside in Portland, OR. I had to travel to California urgently to visit a friend. I was surprised to receive a $14.00 bill for crossing the bridges in San Francisco. As a newcomer to the US, I was unaware of this charge. Could you please assist me in waiving this fee? I appreciate your help and eagerly await your response. Thank you, Hamid.

As a tourist from Arizona, I recently visited San Francisco from February 26th to March 2nd, traveling for 4 days using my own vehicle. I crossed the Golden Gate Bridge toll 3 times during my trip. I have received invoices totaling around $27 for the toll charges, which I am prepared to pay. However, I have also been charged a $50 penalty for not using Fastrak. I find it unfair to be penalized as a visitor to San Francisco for not having a Fastrak account. As a non-resident of the city and someone from Arizona where there is no Fastrak system, I was not aware of the requirement. I am willing to pay the toll charges but would appreciate it if the penalty could be waived considering my circumstances.
