I will never buy from Barnes and Noble again. I have been trying, for two days, to activate a **% coupon to no avail. I wanted to purchase nine books and could not get the coupon to activate. So I called the *** number and the woman barely spoke english then put me on hold for more than ten minutes and then disconnected me. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. He sounded like he was on quaaludes. When I explained the problem to him he blanked out as if he'd fallen asleep. I said, 'are you there.' He said yes. I asked if he wanted my business and he said that he couldn't answer that question. I asked if he was going to take my order and apply the discounts and he disconnected me. Really? Clearly, you don't need my business.
