Well I've never had a bad in store experience until today. ***) I was told Barnes and Noble does not accept returns against purchase orders. Is this a new procedure? I have returned items in the past against a purchase order with no problems whatsoever.***) James R - the csr. no customer service skills at all. No help pushing the little cart that was overflowing with $**** worth of books. No help opening the door, instead he followed behind me. No help loading the bags into my trunk, instead he stood back and waited to retrieve the cart.**I feel that I should have been treated better, especially since my school alone has given Barnes Del Amo $**k in sales over the last two years. I am seriously considering closing out my current purchase order.**In past visits I have asked for and received an upright book truck. Now I am directed to the store carts at the door, which are impractical and difficult to steer once filled with a school order.**In past visits I have been able to return duplicates as it is nearly impossible for a school librarian to remember every book in her inventory.**In past visits I have been helped to the car with my purchases. I can certainly push my own cart, but at the very minimum it is polite to hold the door.**Finally, prior to the beginning of the school year, I have always been emailed with available dates from which to schedule an in-store book fair.**So disappointed.
