I'm having trouble accessing my Bank of America account. Despite entering the correct username and password, I'm unable to log in. Additionally, I encountered issues adding my card to Apple Pay. This is concerning as I'm currently traveling in Europe and unable to contact customer service due to long wait times. I've attempted to reach out to the bank ten times without success. If needed, please contact me at (+[redacted]5). - Mara P.

As a retired employee with accounts since the 1960s, I'm disappointed that BofA has misdirected my payment to a Health Benefit plan for the second time. I do not have or need such a plan, especially since being on Social Security. This mix-up is causing me financial strain due to late fees. It seems the Health plan wasn't closed properly, leaving me with a headache trying to resolve this. Instead of solutions, I keep receiving more phone numbers and no concrete answers. I made my payment on 10-3-19, two days before the due date on the 5th. If this issue persists, I may have to seek legal action through Small Claims Court. My family's association with Bank of America goes way back, and it's disheartening to witness this decline in service quality.

I recently went to my BoA branch with over $[redacted] in loose change, and to my surprise, I was informed that they no longer accept loose change. This policy seems to have changed at the beginning of the year. In the past, they would collect the loose change in a bank bag, send it to a branch with coin counting machines, and deposit it into my account. I am disappointed by this change and feel that a bank should provide this basic service. My wife and I are considering transferring our accounts to a different bank that still accepts loose change. I hope BoA reconsiders this policy and goes back to their previous practice of accepting and processing loose change for their customers.

My employer mistakenly deposited my check into the wrong account. They issued me a new check to correct the error. After depositing the check, I was informed that $[redacted] would be available immediately, with the remaining funds to follow by Tuesday the 8th. Surprisingly, the full amount was accessible by Sunday the 6th. However, on Tuesday, the funds were withdrawn, resulting in a $[redacted] overdraft and a pending hold until Wednesday the 16th. I contacted my employer, who uses Wells Fargo, and they stated that the hold is due to the bank, not them. I kindly request the prompt return of the funds to my account.

I recently found out from Bank of America that I have been reported to Chex Systems for suspicious fraud activity. Another bank mentioned the same issue to me, but I had no previous knowledge of this matter. I did not receive any notifications, alerts, messages, emails, or phone calls about it. I urgently need to be removed from this list to proceed with opening an account at a different bank. I am facing difficulties due to this situation and need immediate assistance on how to resolve it. Waiting for five years to be removed from the list is unacceptable. I am frustrated and exhausted dealing with this and need help to resolve the issue promptly.

I'm not a Bank of America account holder, and I suspect someone tried to use my identity to apply for a Cash Rewards Mastercard. I got a call from [redacted] claiming to be from the Bank of America Fraud Department, with reference # [redacted] for the case. They knew all my details without asking for them. I reported this to my local police, and they doubt the legitimacy of the call and the potential card application. I'm unsure if the information provided is from B of A, if an application was made, if the phone number is genuine, or if the reference number holds any significance. If this isn't the right way to reach your security team, please direct me to the correct office. I've been unsuccessful in reaching a person as I lack an account or phone ID, but I'm genuinely concerned about potential identity theft.

Hello! I resided in the US for 14 months and utilized BofA during that period. Since returning to Finland, I successfully transferred funds from my American account to my Finnish one, leaving my American account with a balance of 0 dollars. Although I assumed my automated phone bill would not process due to the zero balance, it went through, leading to an overdraft charge of approximately $[redacted]. I am uncertain about the best course of action regarding this overdraft. Should I transfer the amount from my Finnish account back to my American account to resolve it? I have already stopped the autopay to avoid further charges from my provider. Additionally, once I resolve the overdraft issue, I plan to close my BofA account since I do not have immediate plans to return to the US. How can I close the account remotely without visiting a physical Bank of America location? If remote closure is not an option, can I defer the closure until my next visit to the US (potentially within a year) without incurring any additional fees?

I was recently informed by a Bank Manager at Bank of America in California about an escrow account they hold under my name linked to a sizable amount of money from an international lottery for which I am a winner. They suggested transferring the funds to a bank in Delaware. However, they mentioned I need to wire a service fee to the merchant banker managing the transaction. I suspect this might be a fraudulent scheme that others may also be falling victim to. I would appreciate guidance on how to handle this situation. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Recently, I received a call from a Bank of America Manager in California regarding an unclaimed escrow deposit of a substantial amount. I was asked to establish a bank account in Delaware for the transfer. However, they requested me to transfer funds to cover handling fees before releasing the escrow funds. This seems suspicious and could potentially be a fraudulent scheme. It is concerning that others might fall victim to the same scam. I am eager to claim the escrow funds, but want to prevent others from being deceived by these individuals. I will appreciate it if you reach out for more information as I believe Bank of America would not want to be associated with such activities. Thank you. - Dale P. / [redacted].

I have been receiving frequent and suspicious phone calls in Chinese regarding international shipping containers for the past year. These calls come from various companies in California, such as DOHC and Federal Express, but there is no identifiable information or numbers to call back. The repeated calls stress urgency in their messages. I suspect my information may have been compromised as I received alerts about my data being on the Dark Web last year. Despite reaching out to known companies and attempting to contact Bank of America's Fraud Department, I haven't been able to stop these calls. The situation has become harassing, especially during a recent personal crisis. I am seeking advice on how to deal with this ongoing scam. Thank you for any help offered.

I attempted to make a purchase on www.morphe.com, but it failed the first time. Subsequently, I tried two more times, and it charged me thrice. Following this, I contacted Morphe, and they advised me to reach out to a Bank of America specialist for a refund. The order total was $[redacted]. I possess the transaction evidence in my email. I endeavored to schedule an appointment through the Bank of America app, but unfortunately, that option is not available. Appreciate your assistance.

I have been a MasterCard (M/C) cardholder since around [redacted] and am highly satisfied with using the card and its procedures. When I got married in Sydney, Australia in [redacted], my wife and I got a second card for her on the same M/C account. We moved from the US to Australia in February [redacted] and still frequently use our two M/C cards in Australia. We appreciate that we don’t have to pay to have the cards, our Australian transactions are in Australian dollars with seamless conversion to US dollars by your data-processing center at the accurate exchange rate with no extra fees, and we earn Rewards Points even though we pay our account in full each month. I have recently learned that upon either of our deaths and notification to you, our M/C account will be closed, and the survivor will need to request a new M/C card and account number. This concerns me, as the survivor will be financially dependent without access to the M/C card. Can you please explain what the procedures are after being notified of a cardholder's death? I am specifically interested in knowing if, or for how long, the survivor can continue using their individual M/C card after reporting one of our deaths. Given your promptness in issuing new cards for lost or stolen ones, could the survivor still use their card while awaiting a replacement?

I have been a BOFA customer for over 30 years. Following a postponed property closing I planned to use to pay off my debts, I contacted the number on the back of my card instead of visiting the bank. Unfortunately, a representative in Arizona decided to cut off all my credit without assisting me in doing a balance transfer from my card to my checking account. This action could severely impact my debt to credit ratio and credit score permanently. As a loyal customer, I believe this treatment is unacceptable. I am seeking assistance in reaching Mr. Moynihan's secretary.

I deposited a $15,[redacted] check on November 8, [redacted]. Initially, I was told I could withdraw $[redacted] right away, followed by $4,[redacted] on November 13, and $10,[redacted] on November 15. However, the check is now on hold until November 19. I have been a customer for over 16 years and have previously deposited large sums without issue. I am disappointed with the sudden change in withdrawal rules post-deposit and believe this is unprofessional and childish behavior. Please honor the original agreement and release my funds promptly. Thank you, Burke Coleman Roe.

On Thursday, May 23rd, I visited HYUNDAI of LIC to purchase a car. Emileo, the salesman, requested a $[redacted] down payment, which I paid using my Citibank debit card on that same day. After discovering internal damage in the selected car, he promised to find me a better one by the following week. On Wednesday, May 29th, he presented a [redacted] Hyundai Elantra with a different price, requiring an additional $[redacted] for a "new" down payment, which I also paid with my Citibank debit card. Despite the agreed-upon $[redacted] down payment on the lease, I was asked to obtain an insurance policy to finalize the sale. I paid $[redacted] for the policy using my Bank of America credit card on May 29th. GEICO notified me on October 1st of a $[redacted] balance due to a credit card dispute. Subsequently, on October 3rd, GEICO sent a notice of policy cancellation for nonpayment. I settled the outstanding amount with the insurance company but now seek a refund. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Genora Cuevas, and I live in Reno, Nevada. I recently encountered some banking issues that have left me feeling stressed. Last week, after speaking with a Bank of America customer service representative, I attempted to withdraw money from the ATM due to having only $7 in my checking account. Despite agreeing to a $35 overdraft fee, I had trouble withdrawing money from three different ATMs. Subsequently, I deposited $[redacted] at the bank on 11/18/[redacted] and then attempted to withdraw $[redacted] from the ATM, which surprisingly went through. However, my online banking showed a balance of -$[redacted], while the $[redacted] eCheck I was expecting hadn't yet processed. This led to confusion, and when I called customer service, they informed me they might choose not to process the eCheck, potentially resulting in a return check fee. This has left me very anxious as I am on a fixed income. I am seeking guidance on how to resolve this situation and avoid any additional fees. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

On November 22, [redacted], I bought a $25 Dunkin' Donuts gift card at the location inside the Pic & Run on Peachland Blvd in Port Charlotte, Florida. When I checked my credit card charges, I noticed a strange addition to the Dunkin' Donuts transaction. It said, 'click here to get an extra 10% back on David's Tea.' Even though I've never dealt with David's Tea, I clicked on the link assuming there might be a connection to Dunkin' Donuts. Upon contacting David's Tea, they confirmed no affiliation with Dunkin' Donuts. This seems suspicious and possibly a prelude to fraudulent activity. I've attached a snapshot of the entry since the BOA customer service representative couldn't see anything related to David's Tea. I'd appreciate your guidance on this matter. Thank you! I noticed a charge on my checking account that doesn't make sense to me. It was a check card transaction from Lowe’s.com in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on November 29th, which was just yesterday. I did not visit Lowe’s nor did I make any online orders from them. The amount of the check is $[redacted].93. I am quite worried because I have a $[redacted] check issued to a business, and I fear it might bounce due to this unauthorized charge.

I mistakenly completed an application thinking it was on the USPS website. I paid $46.95 for it, but when I received the payment verification, the merchant was not USPS. Their emails ended up in my spam folder. After researching "US JOB SERVICES," the company promising job guarantees, I found numerous complaints labeling them as fraudulent. Upon calling Bank of America to dispute the transaction or seek a refund, I was informed they couldn't assist. Despite explaining the situation and the scam involved, the bank was unhelpful, showing no concern for me as a victim of this fraud.
