After being in the hospital for months and now being discharged with a disability, I noticed that my BOA accounts are overdrawn because fees were applied as the bill payments were trying to go through with insufficient funds. Despite that, the payments were reversed, and nothing was actually paid. I kindly request that the fees be waived, and my accounts reset to zero so I can make a deposit and resume using my beloved BOA services without any hindrance. Perhaps clearing the fees from my accounts or even opening a new account could be the solution to this issue.

In [redacted], there were fake check stubs deposited into my account. When I contacted the bank, I was assured everything would be handled. The following day, funds were withdrawn without my knowledge, my account was closed, and I had to cover over $[redacted] from my own pocket. This unjust situation resulted in a fraud mark on my record, affecting my ability to open a new bank account. Despite my clean record and efforts to resolve this issue with BOA, my request was denied. I am a nursing student facing difficulties paying bills due to the lack of a viable debit card. Removing this unfair mark is essential for me to move forward without obstacles.

I am a beneficiary in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A friend sent me 20,[redacted].00 GBP from your New Delhi branch. Initially, they asked for a ministry approval fee of 3,80,[redacted].00 INR, which I sent. Now, they are demanding an income tax payment of 1,66,[redacted].00 INR without providing any proof. I am unsure if I will receive the money. I requested the bank deduct the tax from the deposit, but they insist I pay it in cash. I asked for a mandate to allow them to deduct the tax and give me the remaining amount, but they have not cooperated. I am facing a financial crisis without access to the money. I need assistance to receive the funds promptly without further complications.

I submitted a detailed message regarding my issue with Bank of America yesterday, and have yet to receive a response after 24 hours. In summary, I received a debit card with a PIN for a checking account I never owned or applied for. Subsequently, BOA notified me of closing this mystery account due to my alleged negligence. I have never been a BOA customer and have no interest in becoming one. I am concerned about the impact of these actions on my credit and financial status. I am seeking a call back from a senior manager at BOA to resolve this matter, as my attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful. I am eager for a prompt response from Bank of America to address this issue. Thank you. Regards, M. Tomson. [redacted]. [redacted].

As a disabled military veteran and long-term Bank of America customer of over a decade, I rarely encounter overdraft fees. However, I recently faced two charges for online transactions through PayPal while being bedridden due to severe illness. Today, when I could finally make the deposit, I reached out to request a refund for both fees. Unfortunately, the customer service representative was only able to refund one fee. I am disappointed as my situation prevented me from visiting the bank promptly. Given my challenging circumstances and inability to work due to my service-related health issues, I kindly request further assistance in having both fees waived. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, and may God bless. The $35 fee holds significant value for me in my current circumstances.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to request the suspension or closure of my long-standing account (Savings and Checking) that has been significantly depleted over the years due to personal challenges. Despite efforts to rebuild, I am unable to sustain the account. I have already submitted a formal letter to BoA to process this request for the 'Adv. Tiered Interest Chkg.' (Account number: [redacted]) and the 'Rewards Savings' (Account number: [redacted]). Best Regards, Simeon Biniatidis 3 Varvaki Str. Thessaloniki, Greece, [redacted]

There are unauthorized charges on my MasterCard with my name on it. My daughter opened an account in my name without my permission and is responsible for the $20,[redacted] balance. I recently discovered this unauthorized account and took immediate action to close it. My daughter misrepresented me as a co-signer, but I found out I am actually the owner of the account. I did not open this account or make any charges, so I believe my daughter has committed fraud. I am seeking advice on how to handle this situation and ensure I am not held liable for these fraudulent charges.

Before my vacation to Arizona, I notified Bank of America about my absence from June 2, [redacted], to June 19, [redacted], to ensure I could manage any statements that arrived during that time. However, upon my return, I never received a statement in the mail for June. When I contacted Bank of America to inquire, the representative explained that I owed $[redacted].00 due to a missed payment and late fee. My previous payments were regularly $25.00, $35.00, or $45.00, but I had never received notice of this issue until the call in June. Since then, I have not received any statements by mail between June [redacted] to October [redacted]. Despite numerous calls to customer service, the problem persists. Recently, I attempted to use the Bank of America app for statement tracking, but faced login issues and required assistance on October 23, [redacted], to access my account. I urge them to investigate this recurring statement mailing problem and review my account's call records to understand the ongoing issue.

After being loyal to Bank of America for 30 years, I am considering closing my account due to recent issues: 1. Bank relocated and closed my safe deposit box, requiring me to move my belongings to the new location and pay an extra $40. 2. I was unexpectedly charged a late fee, which has never happened before. 3. Unable to reach my branch despite multiple attempts, even neighboring branches were unable to assist. Only offered appointments in person, which is inconvenient. Lack of phone support shows a decline in customer service. With these frustrations, I am contemplating closing my account soon. Carol F.

I recently settled a credit card debt with B of A that has been pending for a while. Due to personal losses in [redacted], I struggled financially and am now employed by the DoD; they require proof of the payment. The money was transferred from my account to cover the bill. I requested documentation of the transaction for a security clearance hearing on 10/26, but the process has been challenging. Despite providing a fax number to a B of A branch, I was informed that it would take 24 to 48 hours to send the required letter. After contacting various individuals without success, I am still waiting for the documentation. Mrs. Martinez, who processed the payment, has been unable to help. I am seeking assistance from someone who can resolve this matter efficiently.

My account was hacked, leading to identity theft issues. Despite my account being frozen, Bank of America processed payments instead of rejecting them, resulting in now owing the bank money. I have experienced significant problems resolving this as customer service has not been helpful. I am unable to get proof of the hacking or account freezing. The bounced checks sent to my payees are causing collection problems for me.

My account was frozen on 8/31/[redacted] due to identity theft. I am concerned about a check being processed on 9/10/[redacted] when it should have been rejected. On 8/16/[redacted], I noticed a check payable to an unknown party was processed through my account. I discovered this at 8 pm on 8/30 and immediately visited the branch. I was informed my account needed to be frozen, and I had to open a new one. I was assured that no further transactions would occur. However, numerous checks for bills like my mortgage, health insurance, and auto payments were being processed. I wasn't warned that payees might attempt multiple collections, leading to potential issues like late fees and damage to my credit. Despite my efforts, I faced challenges contacting payees with the new information. This led to unpaid bills, late charges, and interruptions in services like health insurance. The situation has created significant stress, requiring countless hours on the phone to resolve.

I have recently been denied the claim I made for fraudulent transactions, causing my account balance to be over $[redacted] in the negative. I receive $[redacted] monthly from VA disability benefits and can't afford essentials like food and medicine. Bank of America assumed I'm responsible for the transactions too early without factual basis. I get paid on the 31st, and it seems my entire paycheck will go towards the negative balance. I wasn't warned about this, so I urge you to reconsider the situation, review the facts, and keep the money in my account until resolved. Thank you.

I recently pre-ordered a video game using my card, but ended up spending the funds before the charge went through. This resulted in my account being overdrawn by $55, leading to additional fees. Later, I used $5 from my PayPal account, but was again charged on my card, causing another overdraft. I am in need of assistance to resolve these issues before my upcoming direct deposit on Thursday. My online account username is caligrown24. Any help in clearing this up would be greatly appreciated as I have just started a new job and need my account to be in good standing. Thank you.

On February 4, [redacted], Betty L. Ruffin passed away. She held accounts with Bank of America including checking, savings, and a credit card which showed activity after her passing. As the appointed Special Administrator as of August 30, [redacted], by the State of Maryland, I am tasked with assessing the value of Ms. Ruffin's assets at the time of her death. Through my legal representation at Louis Levenson & Associates, I have requested Ms. Ruffin's personal mail and financial documents from her residence. Bank of America's cooperation is vital in identifying the individuals responsible for the post-death activities in Ms. Ruffin's accounts, including about $4,[redacted].43 in transactions from February. Reviewing security footage could aid in resolving this matter swiftly. My legal counsel and I, Larry J. Moore, are eager to work with Bank of America to bring this issue to a close. Please reach me at [redacted] or [redacted], or at [redacted] Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

Subject: Urgent Payment Issue Dear Customer Service Team, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to address a pressing matter regarding a payment made in error. I regret to inform you that I inadvertently transferred £11,[redacted] to one of our suppliers who banks with your institution. After engaging with the supplier and securing their agreement to refund the amount, I am encountering unexpected difficulties with your staff. Regrettably, both the refund to the supplier and the return of funds to us are being rejected without valid justification. It is essential to rectify this situation promptly, as withholding funds to which you are not entitled may be perceived as misappropriation. I kindly request your immediate assistance in facilitating the return of the funds to the appropriate party or guiding me to the relevant contact who can resolve this matter expediently. Hello, I need assistance regarding a matter with your bank. I am reaching out from the UK, identified as the wife of Robert Young, who is making a claim related to the will of his father, Mr. Young Williams. The Bank of America has executed a transfer and sent a corresponding email to [redacted] I am perplexed by the situation. An employee at the branch mentioned that the discrepancy is due to my surname in the UK bank being Antipina. Many women retain their maiden names, and changing it should not be obligatory. I am confused as to why Bank of America redirected my husband to Wells Fargo after all the preceding events. The stress we are enduring is substantial, and we are frustrated. Could you please escalate this complaint to your senior and executive management? We are at an impasse, and the ongoing concern from Bank of America is overwhelming. This has had a negative impact on my husband's mental health, and I am finding it challenging to focus on my work. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My bank account at Bank of America was closed around three months ago due to someone repeatedly withdrawing money, claiming to be from Hertz Rental Car. Every time I noticed these transactions, I contacted Bank of America questioning why they allowed Hertz to withdraw funds. The account closure occurred after Hertz withdrew $[redacted].00 and some additional charges. Despite my continuous calls for months, I received no assistance. These unauthorized transactions occurred while I was in Tallahassee, FL. Now that I am back in Palm Beach County, I am hopeful to find a resolution. I did not have any outstanding dues with Hertz during these withdrawals. I am eager to solve this ongoing issue.

There seems to be an error on your "open an account" page. I believe it is not letting me past the URL. If you go to open a savings account, you will encounter the issue. The subdomain after secure.bankofamerica.com is /secure-deposits/savings-accounts/. Specifically, on the right side, there is a bullet point that reads: "The $8 monthly maintenance fee is waived on up to 4 eligible savings accounts for like you." This sentence is unclear. Do you mean "The $8 monthly maintenance fee is waived on up to 4 eligible savings accounts for, like, you"? This sounds too casual. Perhaps it should just state ""The $8 monthly maintenance fee is waived on up to 4 eligible savings accounts for you." Alternatively, it could be "The $8 monthly maintenance fee is waived on up to 4 eligible savings accounts for people like you" or "The $8 monthly maintenance fee is waived on up to 4 eligible savings accounts for people who like you." Overall, there is a lack of clarity in this communication. It would be beneficial for a large organization like yours to improve proofreading. Step it up, folks.
