My iden***y was stolen, and someone obtained a BOA Visa Alaska airlines credit card April **,**** according to my credit report at Experian. I learned of this May * through the US Mail when a credit card with my name and address arrived. That day i notified the fraud department and the card was cancelled. There were no charges on the card as far as i know and the $** origination fee was cancelled. I filed a police Iden***y theft report and notified the FTC of the theft, Experian, Transunion and Equifax. I put an extended fraud alert on my credit files and a security freeze on all three as well. I want the details from Bank of America on their fraud investigation into this crime. This is very distressing and cost me hours of phone and record work to protect my credit. I understand that you are required to release the results of your investigation on the details of this crime.
I trust that Bank of America will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
