I lodged a complaint with BSNL customer service on the 22nd of November [redacted] regarding not receiving incoming messages. They assured me that a complaint was filed and it would be resolved within 24 working hours. Despite their promise, the issue persists. Each time I call customer service, I am put on hold for an extended period, sometimes leading to disconnection without any assistance. After several attempts, they acknowledge that the problem remains unresolved and suggest it may take another 24 working hours to fix. Unfortunately, the issue persists, and my subsequent calls are met with a busy tone, preventing me from resolving the matter.

I recharged my BSNL plan for Rs. [redacted] for 71 days on December 10th. It was working fine for 2 days, on December 10th and 11th, but it stopped on the 12th. BSNL is claiming that I did not recharge any plan. I urge BSNL to address this issue promptly. As a student, I take Rs. [redacted] seriously, and I need this matter resolved quickly. The customer care service is unsatisfactory because there is no response to emails, and the customer care number is not connecting from various devices.

I recently switched my SIM from Jio to BSNL. My network has successfully changed to BSNL, but I haven't received the promised benefits yet. The salesman assured me that upon activation, I would receive 28 days of unlimited calling and 1.5GB of data per day. Unfortunately, I am unable to make calls or use data at the moment. When I try to make a call, I receive a message stating that the service is currently unavailable. I have already paid for the services, and I am confused as to why I am not able to access them. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sir, I am Vinod Kothari and my mobile number is [redacted]. I recently renewed my plan for Rs [redacted].00, which has a validity of [redacted] days. During my trip to Hyderabad last week, I noticed that my balance went down to Rs 1.49 from Rs 98.73 as soon as I used my phone there. The following day, everything seemed to be back to normal, and I was able to use my phone without any issues due to my free roaming plan. I had a landline [redacted] in DOMBIVILI west with the pin code [redacted], which I disconnected a while ago. However, I was advised by your staff that if I get a BSNL SIM and recharge it, any calls to my old number could be received on the mobile. I followed that advice and asked if the service would be terminated if I didn't recharge after 6 months. Once the 6 months passed, I didn't recharge because I no longer wanted the connection, and now the SIM is not working. In DOMBIVILI, only BSNL mobile SIMs work, so the SIM is of no use to me. Despite me ignoring the monthly SMS notifications, I continue to receive them unnecessarily. Please stop sending these messages. As promised, I would like my deposit refunded. It has been over a year, so please send my deposit check to the address I provided. Thank you.

I am disappointed with the poor network coverage and consumer service I received after switching from Airtel to BSNL. I was excited about using a state-run telecom service, but from day one, I struggled to get a 3G network despite trying all possible settings. Even on the third floor, the signal was weak, making it impossible to use the internet. Although I have a 1GB/day data plan, it is useless with such poor connectivity. The real frustration began when I contacted customer service multiple times, and each time they blamed it on a network issue, asking me to wait for hours and call back. Despite my efforts, I was unable to get any meaningful assistance. Each time I requested to escalate my complaint or speak to a senior representative, my call was disconnected abruptly. It seems like the BSNL customer care representatives do not feel accountable for resolving consumer issues and can disconnect calls at their discretion, leaving customers like me feeling helpless and misled. I urge the company to address this matter promptly.

Subject: Follow-Up on Telephone Return and Refund Request Dear Sir/Madam, I wish to bring to your attention that on 21/02/[redacted], I submitted a request for the cancellation and return of telephone number [redacted]6 to the relevant Commercial officer. I also returned the instrument and all its accessories on the same day and received an acknowledgment / NOC as proof. I was promised a refund of the remaining balance promptly. Regrettably, despite several attempts through phone calls and personal visits, I have not seen any progress on my refund so far. It has been nearly two years, and I am yet to receive any updates. I kindly urge you to process my refund for the remaining balance as soon as possible. Many of my acquaintances have already received their refunds in a timely manner. BSNL, the internet provider with a poor reputation. They fail to resolve issues promptly and are a frustration to deal with. Many users, like myself, find their service subpar. There have even been security breaches with their modems. Sources such as Quora also criticize BSNL, labeling it as a national embarrassment. It's disheartening to witness such inefficiency and lack of accountability. There is a call for the government to consider shutting down BSNL and allocating its assets to recover losses. Individuals are left to deal with their internet problems on their own. This plea is to improve the internet services provided in the country, addressing the limitations faced by users forced to use substandard services due to lack of alternatives in their area.

I am a BSNL mobile user who recently purchased a sim card for a 1GB/day data plan. Additionally, I received 3GB for free from BSNL. However, the issue I am facing is the extremely poor network speed. Despite having a 4G sim card and plan, my network displays H+ and operates at a speed of 2-4KB/s. This slow speed makes it impossible to browse the internet or send messages via WhatsApp. I'm reaching out for assistance to resolve this problem and improve my network speed, as I have noticed other BSNL users enjoying a better internet experience. My landline number [redacted] is being misused by someone. The connection frequently drops, and the billing remains consistent at [redacted] for the past four months, despite minimal usage. Over the last year, the bill has consistently been around [redacted], which seems unjust considering our actual usage. We are consistently overpaying, resulting in a financial loss for us. I recently recharged my mobile number, [redacted], on February 27th with the BSNL [redacted] plan. This plan is supposed to give me 3GB of data per day, yet I received a message stating that 90% of my data has been used up suddenly. This is not the first time it has happened; I had the same issue last month and the month before. I even sent a complaint to [redacted] regarding this issue. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and resolve it. If there is an ongoing problem with my SIM card, please let me know so I can consider getting it replaced or explore other solutions.

Despite multiple visits to the Sabarmati Dharamnagar BSNL Branch and multiple requests to update my email address to [redacted] and my mobile number to [redacted], the information has not been updated in the system. When trying to reach customer care, I have faced difficulties with calls connecting to different zones and not being able to see the application on file. Hello, I am A.K. Sahoo from B/[redacted] Nalco Nagar, Angul, Odisha, Pin-[redacted]. I booked a BSNL fiber connection over two weeks ago at the nearest BSNL office and also applied online. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from BSNL. Despite my regular visits to the office, the staff have been consistently rude and unhelpful, giving me false information daily. I have only received messages from BSNL without any progress on the connection. I am sharing some screenshots as evidence of this issue. I would appreciate any assistance in expediting the process as I may need to seek an alternative provider if this matter is not resolved promptly. Thank you.

I have been a loyal customer of BSNL for over 20 years and have used their internet service for 4 years. Unfortunately, I have faced continuous connectivity issues where the internet is only available for 10-15 days a month. Despite my efforts to address the problem by having technicians come to fix it and even changing the wires, the issue persisted. Frustrated, I canceled two telephone numbers and decided to continue with BSNL but the problems persisted with the new connection. I have experienced months without internet while still paying my bills. Even after numerous complaints and attempts to fix the issues, the problem reoccurred. In the end, I gave up on BSNL and stopped using their services. Now, a year later, I am receiving notifications of an outstanding bill for not using the internet. I request assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I submitted a request to Customer Service at Mount Rd., Chennai-[redacted] on 10th October [redacted] to relocate my telephone [redacted]3 and Broadband from Jagadambal Colony 2nd Street, Royapettah to Sripuram First Street, Royapettah. The process took 10 days for BSNL to respond from another exchange. They recommended a Fibre Broadband service promising better speed and coverage. I agreed to upgrade and paid Rs.[redacted] for a 4-band modem. The installation was disappointing. The WiFi coverage was only 5 meters, and the connection quality was poor compared to my old setup. Despite multiple attempts by the technician, Mr. Arivuselvan, to fix it, the issue persists. He promised to replace the modem with a better one with a 10-meter range but hasn't returned yet. I need help switching back to my previous non-fiber Broadband service that worked flawlessly. If no action is taken promptly, I may consider surrendering the services to BSNL. I recently received a call and text messages from a number in Jammu, Srinagar. The individual claimed to be a friend but turned out to be a stranger using inappropriate language. I attempted to verify the details using Truecaller, which only showed the location as Jammu, Srinagar, and that the SIM belonged to BSNL. I am concerned about this behavior and wonder if I can obtain more information about the owner of the number. The phone number in question is +[redacted]72.

Hello support team, I am Mohinder Pal from Village Chhoti Jhakhian, District Ropar, under Sheri Anandpur Sahib. I want to inform you that I have been using the BSNL landline broadband service for two years. Unfortunately, my Internet has not been working for about three months now, since mid-November. I have reached out to the SDO Anandpur, the contractor of my area, and the linemen, but my complaint remains unresolved despite numerous attempts. I have already paid my plan's annual bill, yet for the last three months, I have been unable to use the service. As a web developer, this issue is negatively impacting my business.
