REGARDING: ISSUE with CPO Limited Warranty Transfer of **** BMW ***i **VIN: WBA*N*C**EK********On September **, ****, Bradley Borchardt (my husband) financed the purchase for the above referenced vehicle from Shaena L. Friedman (BMW Financial Loan * ********** * **** BMW ***i Coupe). PLEASE FIND ATTACHED BMW FINANCIAL PAYOFF LETTER & SIGNED MIDFIRST BANK PAYOFF AUTHORIZATION.**On or about the first week of October ****, I completed and mailed the BMW CERTIFED Pre-Owned LIMITED WARRANTY APPLICATION, required documentation and the $*** warranty transfer fee (payable to BMW of North America, LLC) to the address listed on the form. PLEASE FIND ATTACHED APPLICATION & DOCUMENTATION.**It would later be determined (late October ****) that BMW Financial did not properly apply the $**,*** payoff to Ms. Friedman’s Loan ***********. As a result, we did not receive our auto title & registration until November **, ****.**As of today, January **, ****, BMW customer relations stated that there is no record of my CPO Warranty Transfer Application and the check was never cashed..**This morning, I spoke with Josh (via the toll-free BMW customer relations). He was very helpful and said that he would pass on my issue to a case manager. I was later contacted by John (ext. ****) who stated that he represented the “manufacturer” end of BMW and that I simply was outside of the **-day window to transfer the Limited Warranty and that it was unlikely that my application would be processed. John went on to say that he was about to go on a break, but would eventually submit my inquiry to another department and there would be a *-business day follow-up. John also said if BMW Financial had lagged in closing Ms. Friedman’s loan, that it was probable that my application would have simply been rejected. Needless to say, I DO NOT feel very confident with John’s efforts, nor do I think that his subpar efforts represent the BMW reputation for quality and integrity.**I would first like to say that, we genuinely love our car and acquiring a CPO BMW was mandatory in our search. I understand that errors*delays occur, but I never imagined a transaction involving BMW (from the vehicle being BMW CPO and the payoff being made to BMW Financial) would wind up penalizing a loyal customer. I have confidence in your brand and I am asking for your assistance with this Limited Warranty Transfer, as well as the option to secure an extended warranty for the life of our newly acquired vehicle. We take pride in the care, consideration and compliancy in maintenance of our vehicles and need someone to take a closer look at the situation, so we can rightfully have what was presented in purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned BMW.**Sincerely,**Michele and Bradley Borchardt
