Hello, since the advent of so-called "smart meters", I've been against them especially on my own house. I was forced to have by threatening me to charge $***month. I gave in as I couldn't afford an additional charge from your already exorbitant costs. After researching for last few years, and learning that if you have led lights and dimmers that it could double my bill, it brought this issue back to light. Now with the emf dangers, I want some sort of health protection against the meter that was forcefully installed or it removed entirely. Looking for something to be done or next action will be class action lawsuit. I know many people that will be a happy to join. Please advise what steps you plan I need to taking to protect my families health? **Here's some facts, of which there are many more to show the courts, lead researcher Franz Leferink, Professor of Electromagnetic Compatibility at the UT, tested nine different electronic meters manufactured between **** and ****. The meters were connected via electric switchboard to various power-saving devices – including energy-saving light bulbs, heaters, LED bulbs and dimmers. The team then compared actual energy consumption with the readings furnished by the electronic meters.**The results were profoundly disturbing. Five of the nine meters – more than half – gave readings higher than the actual power consumed – in some cases, a staggering *** percent higher. Other readings were *** percent, *** percent, *** percent and *** percent higher than actual use. (This could theoretically reflect a near six-fold increase in a utility bill – a rip-off of outrageous proportions!)
