On April **, **** I submitted payment for autoloan ********** at he Kettering Branch in Maryland. On the back of the form I filled out the information for auto payment, paid payment of $***.** and submitted the auto payment form along with the payment. I subsequently traveled and was under the assumption autopayment was being made. On July **th I discovered the payments were not being withdrawn from my credit union account, so I called the Kettering Branch. I spoke to several individual : Ingrid, Rebecca (twice), Victoria Dawson (twice). Rebecca was most helpful but Victoria needed more skills in customer service, she was rude and uncooperative. I called again today August *, **** as I tried in vain several times prior to resolve my issue. The Kettering Branch seem to be incompetent in their telephone service. The first time I called *:** pm a male answered the phone and hung up* the second time someone answered and without any greeting hungup* the third time a woman answered and hung up when I asked to speak to the manager. Lastly, a gentleman by the name of Saidu or Usaid answered and was able to give me the manager's name and email address. The customer should not have to go through such treatment at any BB&T branch office. This is unacceptable. This issue could have been resolved had the Branch teller on April **, **** either submitted my auto request or explain the best process. I need to have my auto loan paid and need to have autopayment setup. For some reason I am unable to enter the online banking and I am also unable to get through to the *** number. the *** number ask for a code which I do not remember and I am not able to get through the *** number from my country location. In the interim interest is being incurred and my credit report is being affected. *What I need: *) make payment of my backpay. *) waive the late fee and penalties for May, June and July *) Have autopay set up or I can try to set it up from my credit union but I will need the correct banking info to do so. *) escalate my experience with the Kettering branch as a learning experience as to what customers go through at BB&T Branch offices.
