I currently filing this with Nevada DMV. It's pertaining to your dealership. Buick, GMC on Sahara in Las Vegas:**Took truck in on or about *********. First oil change. Prior to purchase they modified and replaced the front bumper with a "Fab Four" Steel Bumper with a winch, (We our volunteer with LVMPD and may have required the winch if were working in Mt. Charleston in the snow). My wife hated it so I requested a price to return it to stock. A couple days later I was called and told the total price would be $****.** and change. I agreed and gave them a credit card. I also mentioned that I thought this was a little high, but agreed anyway. I was told they order the parts & send them to paint should get the truck back in about a week. About two days later I get a call stating the bumper was in and they were sending it to be painted. I called at the end of the week and was told they haven't received it back. I started calling the following week and no one would answer and no one was returning my calls. When I finally contacted the service writer Brian after another ** days he stated there was a ***** up. Apparently they let just anyone walk into their parts department and take whatever they want. He stated that the guy from the body shop came in and took the wrong bumper and it took ** days for someone to realize that they had a rear bumper chrome bumper ( At this point they were avoiding my calls again) He also stated that the body shop was not returning his calls. I called the body shop and spoke with Robert whom I had spoken with prior. He stated that "Nick" was handling this and he'd have him get back to me. He did and left me a very long message on how the dealer sent them the wrong bumper and they didn't discover it until it went into paint. I proceeded the next day to go to the dealer directly. It's now Thanksgiving week. I'm assured by both Brian and the service manager that they will get to the bottom of this and the whole job will be discounted to my inconvenience. I was also told by the service manager that the parts situation was because the parts manager was trying to manage to many dealerships and basically lost control. ********** I get a call stating that they need to speak with me. I called back and was told by Brian that they screwed up and they need additional parts that will cost me around another $****.**. I stated to him that it was ridiculous to think I'd pay **% of the retail price of the truck for a front bumper and just give me the truck back. I then got a call back stating, well we've painted the bumper and can't return it so you'll have to buy it anyway. I stated I paid you in good faith, you didn't state that it was any type of estimate and took my money in full. Bottom line is that they cause me great inconvenience. They should not have been incompetent to the point of not know what part's were needed to do the job. I would never have agreed to *) a $****.** bumper and *) a month long repair. This is a classic "bait and switch" and they should be fined. ((I have attempted to contact you on three different occasion, got no where))
