The issue in GetHuman-hanleyd's own words
we stayed at the Blackhawk, Davenport, IA, Nov *. When calling to ask for an early check in I was immediately passed on to the reservation dept in St Louis. Third time I called I explained to Meghan that I am the customer and I think she should be able to help me with this request at which pint she became somewhat more respectful. We also requested in our reservation that we have a room close to the elevator as my husband is a DAV and walking can be extremely difficult...of course, they put us in the room farthest from the elevator..I think ****. Next, our key did not work in the elevator and an employee used her card to get us to the *th floor. She offered to bring us a new key but never showed up.*I have worked in customer service for ** years and to experience the uncaring and rude attitudes of your employees is unacceptable for a hotel of your stature...I wouldn't expect this behavior at a Red Roof Inn. What a disappointment. Hope you discuss customer service and being accountable with the manager of the Blackhawk property.
