I was quite alarmed to learn that the ATL Falcons recently sponsored a Drag Queen to read to children at ATL City Hall. Seeing pictures of children sitting in the Drag Queen's lap and even lying on top of him is troubling. As a retired school teacher, I recall that physical contact with children was strictly forbidden. The idea of such behavior not only goes against my professional training but also raises concerns about appropriate boundaries. I question why such actions are deemed acceptable. Many Falcons players are parents themselves, and one wonders how they would feel about their own children being exposed to such interactions. The increasing push of the transgender agenda onto children through events like this is concerning. Athletic teams are respected for their talents and entertainment, and delving into political issues may not be the best course of action. I take pride in Atlanta, and I hope we can maintain a positive image for future generations. Regards, Ann V.
