Find out who tried to steal my identity ... The records of ATT show that on ********** one Cassie Kalinowicz used ATT customer access number CK***J and cancelled my sim card with ATT and activated * new sims on my account and mailed them to an address that ATT shipping has but has not yet disclosed. My phone service was interrupted for * days and I called ATT and they asked if I had authorized my sim to be cancelled by Cassie Kalinowicz and * more to be activated, I stated no I did not. I was told to immediately go to my local ATT office and stop the service on the * sims and have a new one issued which I did. While at the local office Matt (great guy!) and I researched the name of the person that did the cancelling and activating, and it came up Cassie Kalinowicz employee ATT customer access number CK***J. I did a quick Linkedin search and came up with a person that supposedly works for Asurion in Chicago (possibly a fake linkedin account). Matt was immediately surprised as he stated that they have access to ATT client’s sim accounts. Asurion employees have access to the servers and databases of ATT customers because they insure the phones purchased by ATT clients and all other carriers. Other records of ATT show that On ********** at *:**PM and again at *:**PM Cassie Kalinowicz employee ATT customer access number CK***J cancelled my sim card and activated the * new sims on my account and mailed them out. On ********** I called ATT fraud department and notified them. Then I called the HQ of Asurion and talked to the CEO there. I gave her the name and employee authorization number used to scalp my phone and the time it was logged into ATT's system. The CEO said she would forward it to their security department for investigation. Today I called back and was not allowed to speak to the CEO again and was told that because I did not have insurance with them, they could not access my ATT account and besides...they told me that Cassie Kalinowicz employee number CK***J, does not work for Asurion. Possibly a hacker was using their name to scalp the sims and gained access to ATT's servers another way.... I have no idea. The Linkedin account for Cassie Kalinowicz only has * contact so it might well be fabricated. i JUST WANT IT INVESTIGATED AND FIND OUT HOW MY SECURITY AND IDENTITY WAS ACCESSED. even though Asurion told me that I did not have an account with them....When I went on Asurion's site and put in my phone number it asked if I wanted to have a temporary password sent to my phone or email. I said email and it displayed "*****@***.com. I had already changed my email password and logged off several people that I did not recognize on my email. I hit "send the password to my email it listed"... "*****@***.com exactly * times one after the other. Within minutes I got * requests into my personal email account stating that someone requested the code to get into my email....* times. I copied the source code for the page and removed the **** so you can guess what I now have. Hopefully this was an old customer of Asurion but the * requests for access to my email account kind of makes it look doubtful. I messaged the linkedin Cassie Kalinowicz asking her why...just in case what she did was a mistake and within minutes that account viewed my Linkedin and then logged off. Here is the issue for each and every phone user using their phones to gain access to their bank accounts or email accounts or others that have their phones with carriers that allow other companies to access their systems......since they or someone in their employ could possibly (and in fact did) do this to me then everyone with a phone is also at risk. Denial is not protecting all the phone owners in America. ...ALL my accounts use * step security through my phone as most others also do now. All my checking accounts, email, bank accounts retirement accounts and on. I day trade futures and invest. All my accounts were at risk. Had I not immediately taken all my accounts off phone verification they could have been wiped out and the funds transferred most probably overseas. My email was hacked and left open to a file that contained all my passwords that I had sent to myself. I immediately changed them all. I already sent this to the Consumer Reporting Agency and I am forwarding this to the Chicago Identity theft department, ATT, Better Business and anyone else that will listen. It needs to go viral so that everyone protects themselves and their hard-earned money from criminals...whether owner, managers or their employees. It must be investigated and answers given.
