I filed a claim for a cracked screen for my phone (***)-***-**** on ********. At the same time I filed a claim on my wife’s phone (***)-***-****. We were supposed to receive * checks for our phones, since we had no repair options in our area and replacements weren’t available. We recieved the checks, however the Fed Ex guy threw it on the door step and both envelopes were shredded to confetti by the neighbors dog (with the exception of the check for the phone for ***-***-****). On ******** I notified assurion of the situation and I was told that the check for my wife’s phone (***-***-****) would be canceled, and reissued and I should receive it within a week. I have not received that check as of yet. I purchased new phones for both, as instructed. I didn’t receive any information regarding returning my phone to Assurion. I again made a phone call to Assurion on ******** inquiring how I should proceed with the return since my envelope was shredded. The agent said she would send me out prepaid return shipping labels for both phones. I haven’t received these either. I was instructed to get a new phone and return my other phone within ** days, and I’d really like to do that. I have everything ready to return and have been ready since ********. I am perplexed as how to proceed. And I really don’t feel like I should be penalized for not returning in time since I don’t know where to send the phone.
