March **, *****Dear Management,*I am writing this letter astonished and filled with disbelieve on how I (the customer) was treated in regards to my purchase return. I have my receipt and have read your return policy.*I purchased a pair of shoes on Saturday, March **, **** from your Ashley Stewart in Fayetteville GA.*Although I have shopped your store before, I haven’t been there in a while since the store I shopped closed.*So riding through the Pavilion I saw your store and decided to stop since I hadn’t shopped there in a while. Excited to see all the beautiful colors and the stylish wear, I started shopping! I purchased clothes and right before check-out I saw these beautiful Leopard Print Flats ($**.**), immediately grabbed them and thought these would be perfect with my outfits.*Monday morning, I put on my beautiful shoes to go to work in an office building. Worked all-day and went home, took off my shoes and saw the bottom of the shoes was raveling. To my surprised after only one day, not a day eight hours of wear the shoes were coming apart. I was disappointed, but said oh well I’ll return them tomorrow. Tuesday the next day, along with my receipt (showing that I just bought the shoes two day ago) I went to the Ashley Stewart store and asked for a manager. I meet Teresa Allen, gave her my receipt and told her I would like to return the shoes because they are defective. She immediately said, we cannot take these shoes because they’ve been worn. I starting explaining how I just purchased the shoes, but she didn’t want to hear me. I had to leave before I got too upset, still with my shoes in my hand. *Now, I’m a shopper and if the shoes I purchased were $**.** or $**.** dollars I wouldn’t said…oh well. But, these shoes were almost $**.** bucks and I only wore them one day (* hours). I have bought house slipper for $*.** and have worn them out-doors to take out the trash or something and never experience defective shoes like these before? I shopped at Ashely Steward thinking I am purchasing quality items from your Brand name alone. I work in the hospitality industry, and what happen with pleasing your customer, or wanting a satisfied customer (Customer Service)? I like your store and would love to shop there again, but with this experience am not sure?
