I made a purchase or attempted to make a purchase online at Ashleyfurniture.com. I tried to set up an account but I could not because the site said an email acct already exists for my email. I then attempted to reset the password for the acct. The response was “no acct exists for that email”. I checked out as a guest. I placed an order for $****. My non-Ashley Furniture credit card acct shows part of a pending purchase in the amount of $*,***.**. I never got a confirmation email. I need to cancel the online order. I made the purchase in the store so that the salesperson actually gets credit for the sale. I was informed by the salesperson AFTER I made the purchase online that he does not get credit for the sale. This was inconsistent with the perception I was given at checkout such as “did a salesperson help you?” And “ what was the name of the salesperson?” I want to cancel online order. I have no confirmation number. I have no account number. I have had a very frustrating experience with the online purchase experience. I called the customer service line and was on hold with no person for ** minutes this morning.
