I recently visited the Kingsway Asda, a regular stop for me. Today, I planned to grab a coffee and snack from the cafe before my weekly Parkrun nearby. Upon entering, I saw a customer ahead of me and two seated customers. I joined the queue behind a lady who seemed to be an employee having a chat with the male colleague working. Their discussion and tea break lasted about two minutes, with no money exchanged. I was hoping to be served after this, but they continued their chat and ignored me. Feeling unappreciated, I left the cafe. The colleague apologized as I was walking out, but it was too late for me. If he had been busy, I would have understood, but the situation was unacceptable. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this experience.

I recently visited your Byker store around 10:30 a.m. As soon as I walked in, I slipped on liquid near the entrance. Two staff members were present, but they had not placed a wet floor sign because they were chatting. Despite pointing out the need for the sign, they only mentioned they were about to do it. I hurt my ankle in the fall, but they didn't apologize or check on me before I left. I tried to reach customer service twice but the long queues made it impossible. Fortunately, my ankle felt better as I walked around the store. Despite this, I intended to return to customer service, but the queues persisted, and I was short on time. I was disappointed with the lack of customer service I experienced and the staff's attitude.

On April 22, [redacted], I utilized the car wash services at the Wembley (London, Brent) branch. I requested a full valet service and was informed it would take up to 7 hours. After receiving a call that my car was ready, I collected it only to later receive a parking ticket from Parking Eye (Ticket Ref: [redacted]/[redacted]). Despite appealing with my valet receipt, the ticket was not overturned. I seek clarification on why car wash users are penalized for parking and why I am being charged. I am willing to provide a copy of the car wash receipt for further review if an email address is provided. Best, Priya

I encountered a frustrating situation during my recent shopping trip to the Reddish Manchester store on May 26th. Typically, I spend around £[redacted]-[redacted] per week on groceries for my large family at this store. However, today, after purchasing chicken and chips and paying with my debit card, a security guard approached me in the busy store claiming I hadn't paid for the food. Despite showing him my bank statement with the transaction, it was embarrassing to be accused of stealing in front of so many people. I have been a loyal customer at Asda, spending thousands over the years, and being wrongly accused without proper investigation was upsetting. I plan to share this experience in the local newspaper where I work and on social media to highlight the issue. As a registered disabled person recovering from surgery, the accusation and lack of consideration for my situation are deeply disappointing.

I received only a quarter of my shopping this afternoon. I find this unacceptable. While I appreciate the refund, it doesn't help much as I can't drive and have health issues. This isn't the first time this has occurred, and I expected better from your company. I hope you enjoy your dinners tonight, as mine was missing.

On behalf of Pascal F., I am writing about his recent experience at the Leamington branch. He attempted to purchase petrol but was unsuccessful as they declined his three debit cards from Transferwise, Credit Mutual, and N26, and the ATM was out of service. He was not provided with any alternatives to resolve the issue and could have been directed to Customer Services for assistance as an option. Unfortunately, he was left feeling helpless and had to be brought cash during this distressing situation. This incident led to frustration for Pascal, as he had successfully used his cards at the same store before but faced difficulties this time. The lack of clarity on how to handle such situations from the station's staff was concerning, and he felt as though he was left stranded without a solution. Given the distress caused, an apology would be appreciated by Pascal F. - Polly M.

I visited Asda Beach Boulevard around 9:15 to buy a roast chicken, but was informed I couldn't due to a lack of packaging. When I tried to get a special rye boule loaf sliced, the bakery refused without explanation. Checkout was slow with only one lane open and no reusable bags. Staff had no answers to my questions. Disappointed, I went to Morisson's where I could buy the chicken, have my bread sliced without any hassle, and with a smile. It's frustrating and sad to see such a decline in service from Asda.

Yesterday, on 30/07/19 at 15:44, my husband purchased 7 Krispy Kreme doughnuts for £14.70 despite my request for 12 as we were having a gathering at home. I contacted customer service, where initially I struggled to connect with someone, but eventually explained the situation. They advised me to visit Asda to receive the additional five doughnuts. However, upon reaching Asda Lower Early, I faced a frustrating experience with unhelpful staff who claimed no one had spoken to me previously. Feeling disheartened, I ended up purchasing three more doughnuts for £5.35, spending a total of £20 for 10 doughnuts when I could have gotten 12 for £12.55. The lack of assistance and attitude of the Asda customer service team left me extremely disappointed, particularly with the insensitivity and unhelpful behavior I encountered.

I recently visited the Asda cafe in Livingston and encountered several issues during my visit. There were signs advertising that kids eat free from Monday to Thursday with a full paying adult, but unfortunately, this offer was only valid after 3 pm, which was not clearly stated in the small print on the sign. The wait for our meals was 34 minutes, which I found to be excessively long for two kids' meals, a cheeseburger meal, and a steak pie meal. Additionally, the cheeseburger was served on a morning roll instead of a brioche roll as specified and the steak pie was cold upon arrival. I believe that the misleading advertising regarding the kids' meals is unacceptable and disappointing. I have taken photos to demonstrate the issue with the small print on the signs. Despite the affordable price of the kids' meals, the misleading nature of the promotion leaves a negative impression.

I recently tried to place an online order as a new customer but encountered an issue with my surname missing on the billing address during checkout. Despite it being flagged as a missing field, I was unable to rectify the problem after spending a wasted 15 minutes trying to navigate through the pages. Even contacting customer service did not solve the issue, as I spent an additional 15 minutes on the phone without a resolution. Eventually, I had to cancel the order, which was quite frustrating. As a regular online shopper with various providers, this experience was the most unproductive and annoying in years. I have decided not to attempt any future orders from your website. I recommend reviewing your checkout system. The unsuccessful order was made using an iPhone.

Last night, after finishing work at 6:30 p.m., I visited Asda and purchased items for dinner, which included a bottle of Asda's yellow label Prosecco. Upon returning home, I placed the wine in the fridge to chill while preparing a meal with frozen cod. When attempting to open the Prosecco, I encountered extreme difficulty with the cork, leading to a half-hour struggle resulting in the cork breaking. I had to resort to using a hand drill to remove the wedged cork, which was disappointing and time-consuming. This was my first negative experience with this product that I purchase weekly. Despite considering returning the bottle, I decided against it to avoid further delays in dinner preparation. I'm frustrated by this situation and kindly request a refund of £6 for the inconvenience caused.

I just need to express my disappointment with the pizza I received today from the Stockport branch on 09/09/19. I usually never check my order until I get home because there haven't been any issues before. The pizzas I get are usually amazing, but this time was different. The pizza had no base sauce for the first inch and barely any toppings for the next inch, creating a very unsatisfactory experience. I have photos to show what I mean. Before you lose more customers and receive complaints, I suggest training your staff at the counter again. A 14-inch pizza now looks more like an 11-inch one.

I visited your Coleraine store at 7:15 pm with my 15-year-old son. While he tried to purchase a DVD through the Self Scan service, the staff member asked for his ID, which he didn't have. I then attempted to purchase it for him, but encountered a rude attitude. The staff accused me of buying for a minor and made disrespectful comments about my son's hearing and my appearance. Although I addressed the issue strongly, I believe better customer service training is necessary. This incident has deterred me from returning to your store. Thank you. - Robert

I went shopping for dog food without a basket, carrying 4 packages of Harrington’s against me. Suddenly, a cold sensation made me realize one package was leaking, getting my top wet and smelling of dog food. I grabbed 2 more pouches to find the leaking one. At customer services, a young lady identified the culprit, and I exchanged all 5 pouches. Dealing with the situation, she only offered me some blue roll and spray, avoiding further help lest she ruin my top. I had to insist she document the incident in the accident book. This ruined my evening plans to meet friends, forcing me to go home and wash my smelly top. The handling of the situation by the inexperienced worker seemed unprofessional as I had to prompt her through the process. Bogus

During our recent holiday in Scotland, my husband and I encountered an issue at a cafe in Ware when we tried to use Scottish money to pay for our order. Despite legal tender, the staff seemed untrained and refused to accept it. After using English money, we faced a similar situation at a grocery store where the staff wasn't sure about accepting Scottish currency. The need for more training was evident. The manager eventually clarified that Scottish money is acceptable. This experience was quite embarrassing and left us feeling annoyed. - Mrs. J. I visited your Byker store on Sunday, October 29, to buy two tubs of chocolates that were on sale, two for seven pounds. I used my bank card to pay for them. After entering my pin, the assistant mentioned I removed my card too soon. I re-entered my pin but got distracted while giving change to my children. As a result, I didn't get a receipt. Checking my bank account today, I saw the transaction charged me twice, totaling £14. I hope you can track this issue even though all I have is my bank statement. I feel frustrated about being told to re-enter my pin. Your advice on this matter is greatly appreciated.

On January 10, [redacted], I bought a pack of melon medley for £1.50 to give to my grandson after his dinner. Unfortunately, the melon tasted awful, which is concerning as my usually undemanding four-year-old grandson also found it strange. The sell-by date was for the same day, and it was sold at full price without any discount. I'm unwell and delayed reporting this issue but felt compelled to raise it now. The barcode on the package is [redacted][redacted], and the sell-by date is February 10, [redacted]. I'm disappointed that this product was sold as fresh and worry about the possible health effects it could have had on my grandson if he had eaten it.

Hello, I visited the Asda in-store customer service in May [redacted] and was directed to contact the head office. On 27th May [redacted], I reached out to the head office but was redirected back to the store, which was unable to assist further. My concern, as previously mentioned, revolves around £30 worth of Asda paper vouchers that I tried to use at my local store. However, I was informed that these vouchers are no longer accepted and was advised to contact head office for assistance. I have attached images of the vouchers but cannot do so here. Kindly provide an email address where I can send the pictures of the front and back for review. Since the vouchers have no expiry date, I believe I should be able to use them at Asda stores. If not, I would appreciate exchanging them for a £30 gift card instead. Anticipating a prompt resolution. Best regards, S.T.

To Whom It May Concern, Hello, I am requesting a reduction in the use of plastic packaging for your products. Specifically, I have noticed that items like the aromatico tomatoes are unnecessarily wrapped in plastic. This excess plastic use has led me to stop purchasing these products as I am concerned about the environmental impact. Upon visiting a Sainsbury's store, I came across a similar product with no plastic packaging, leading me to question the need for plastic on your items. I urge you to reconsider the use of plastic on your produce and possibly offer more loose options at competitive prices. While I understand the importance of marketing, it should not come at the expense of the environment. Many consumers these days are actively seeking alternatives to plastic, and I believe making this change could help retain and attract more customers. I hope you will consider these suggestions in the interest of both your customers and the planet. Thank you. 😊🙏🏼 🌍

Hello, I am a frequent shopper but due to my struggle with depression, going to stores is challenging. I rely on disability benefits, and when I tried to place an order, I was surprised by the sudden increase in the delivery fee to 6 pounds unless I spend over 40 pounds. With a weekly budget of 70 pounds, this additional cost seems excessive. Consider revising your delivery fee to a more reasonable amount. This change may impact my shopping decisions as I cannot afford to pay extra every two weeks when I also need to cover bills and food expenses. I hope you value loyal customers like me and reconsider this pricing strategy. Regards, M
