I placed an order for a fridge with Argos on 20/09/20. Since it included delivery and collection of my old appliance, I couldn't cancel online. After multiple failed attempts over four days, I finally reached a representative over the phone. However, the refund I received was missing £19.99 for the removal service. When I called on 2nd October, the advisor initially claimed I had already received a full refund, which was incorrect. Despite her attitude, she acknowledged the mistake but did not apologize. I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours, but as of 06/10/20, no one has reached out. My order number is [redacted]04, valued at £[redacted].97. The callback reference is [redacted]. Please rectify the £19.99 refund discrepancy promptly. Additionally, I am interested in escalating this complaint due to the unsatisfactory customer service experience.

On October 5th, I placed an order for three lamp shades online, with the order number [redacted]. I opted for in-store pick-up at Argos North Finchley. Upon receiving the products, I inspected one pack and discovered it was poorly constructed and unstable, making it unsuitable for its intended use. When I tried to return one pack at the store, I was denied a refund because I had opened the sealed packaging of the screw and holding part. I believe this request is unfair as I needed to open it to evaluate the product properly. The lamp and spare parts are unused and in excellent condition. I assisted my 86-year-old father in purchasing a new toaster yesterday. He visited the nearby store to pick it up but faced difficulty finding the collection codes, resulting in him being turned away. Despite offering his bank card, they were uncooperative. Due to his forgetfulness and inability to navigate a smartphone, I wrote the details down for him once more, and he made a return trip to successfully obtain the item. I believe this highlights a significant lapse in customer service, as they could have easily searched for his information in the system and assisted him better. Hello, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding a garden item I purchased from your company on May 23, [redacted]. It was a Bali KD Armchair and Cushion set with order reference number [redacted]. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the parts did not fit together properly, rendering the items unusable. Due to the lockdown restrictions at the time, I was unable to contact customer service to resolve the issue. Since the lockdown lifted, I have made numerous attempts to reach your customer service line without success and have also tried using the chat feature, only to be disconnected repeatedly. After visiting several of your stores for assistance, I was ultimately provided with a contact number to pursue the matter further. The items have been occupying my living room since May, and they are too cumbersome for me to return to the store myself. The purchase was made using my Argos card, and I am withholding payment due to the faulty nature of the items. Yesterday, I attempted to purchase a Bosch washing machine online, specifically the WMNB712EW model. I encountered an issue as I couldn't select a delivery time, leading me to abandon the order to prevent accidental duplicate purchases. I contacted live chat to confirm the order status, but unfortunately, I ended up placing multiple orders. This resulted in potential orders for a total of three washing machines, including the Bosch WMDF612W model. I urgently need all these orders to be canceled immediately. On April 10th, [redacted], I purchased a new HP printer from your website with Order Number [redacted]. However, on the receipt received via email, a different Order Number FT414274 was listed. I am attempting to take advantage of HP's current offer of £50 cash back and an extended warranty by submitting an invoice. As I bought the printer from Argos online, I did not receive a traditional invoice. I only have the "Order Info and Receipt" and "I'm Your Receipt" pages from your site. HP is not accepting these as valid invoices even though all the purchase details are included. Could you please generate an invoice for me with all the necessary information so I can submit it to HP? To address the issue, I kindly request an official invoice for the purchased hp printer. The order was placed on ** ** ** with Order No **********, but the receipt displays a different Order Number FT******. To claim the current cashback and extended warranty promotion from HP, I need to submit an invoice. Ordering online from Argos did not provide a traditional invoice, only the "Order Info and Receipt" and "I'm Your Receipt" pages. HP requires a specific invoice format for redemption. I believe this issue may have arisen before due to HP's current promotional offers. Hello, my name is Leslie Culver. I recently purchased a Dyson Hand Hoover [redacted]/[redacted] from Argos using a £[redacted] Barclaycard voucher and the rest on my credit card. However, I encountered a problem when trying to have my Nectar points added at the cash register, likely due to the voucher used. The assistant recommended visiting the Nectar website at [redacted]/nectar to add the points from this £[redacted].99 purchase. Unfortunately, I am finding it challenging to do so. Being profoundly deaf, I am unable to use the chat line and encountered issues with the BSL sign video due to wifi problems. Hello, I purchased an iPhone 7 Plus, 128GB, Gold from Argos on April 20th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the phone is now unresponsive with no signs of life. I reached out to Apple for assistance, and they advised me to contact Argos. Argos mentioned that the warranty only covers one year, and as it has been over a year, they would charge £[redacted].99 for repairs which I cannot afford. As per Consumer Law, it is Argos's responsibility to address this issue. When I visited the Malvern Argos store, they were unhelpful. Hello, I submitted my television for repair on October 8th. Following the attempted repair and subsequent offer of a replacement, I declined upon learning it was reconditioned rather than new. Recently, I was notified via text that the replacement was out of stock, but have not received further updates. My TV is only six months old, and as the breakdown was not due to misuse, I am dissatisfied with the handling of my case. Despite attempting to contact customer service multiple times this week, I have not successfully spoken with a representative after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. I bought an oven that was delivered on November 3rd to 29 Topaz Drive, ME10 5TP. The electrician who came to install it found it faulty. I had to pay for the electrician to both fix and remove the faulty oven. Requesting a replacement promptly to satisfy unhappy tenants in the rented property. I've been unable to reach Argos over the phone despite numerous attempts, as mentioned in the email from Argos. Could you please arrange for a replacement, removal of the faulty oven, and cover the electrician's costs as soon as possible? Also, I require a VAT invoice for this order. I bought a bike for my granddaughter's 8th birthday this Sunday, paid with an egift card, and later found out it was out of stock. I've contacted Argos through phone and online chat, but haven't made any progress. They mentioned it could take up to 5 days to refund the gift card without apologizing for their mistake. I explained the situation regarding my granddaughter's birthday, but it didn't seem to matter to them. Being a pensioner and disabled, I can't easily replace the bike at the last minute. A simple solution would be for them to issue a new gift card to prevent disappointment on a child's special day. It's frustrating that the system doesn't check availability before accepting payments. I hope for a resolution soon.

I received a delivery of a Tumble Dryer, Order No: [redacted]35, which leaked water on my new carpet tiles and also had a badly damaged Condenser Unit. I called and spoke to Claire about this issue. She informed me that a new Tumble Dryer will be delivered as a replacement, with the damaged one being taken away, on Sunday, November 22, [redacted], between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. Can you please verify this information and respond to my email regarding this matter?

I received a chair delivery this morning. The delivery drivers were unhelpful and rude. First, they called insisting on delivering early. Upon arrival, they damaged the chair by dragging it down the hallway. They mentioned I would receive a refund as I refused the delivery, but no one has contacted me yet. I tried calling customer services, waited on hold for 45 minutes for someone to take my order number, only to have them hang up on me. The service has been absolutely terrible.

I received the oven today with order number [redacted]73, and unfortunately, it arrived severely damaged. This marks the third oven I've received from Argos in just over a year, and both previous ovens also had issues and broke down after six months each. I've been waiting for the replacement since September 29th, only to find that the top of this latest oven is smashed. I have been trying to contact customer service via phone, live chat, and Twitter, but have faced long waits and disconnections each time. I am incredibly frustrated and would like to return the damaged oven and receive a full refund promptly. A response from the company to arrange the collection and refund would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered a TV mirror stand a few weeks ago. When it arrived, it was damaged in six places. I contacted Argos through chat and they arranged a replacement. The delivery company was supposed to bring the new stand on Wednesday, 4/11/[redacted], but they claimed they never received it. However, when I tracked the item, it showed they had received it. I purchased a multigym from Argos Penrith with order number [redacted]06. The first delivery date on October 19th was a disappointment as the item was out of stock.
