I bough a washing machine in feburary this washer broke down about * weeks ago I called argos and they sent out engineer the motor had gone and when I called argos again they said they were replacing my washer but that I would heve to wait * weeks the new washer was going to be delivered last Thursday ******** I received text while I was at work saying the washer had to be disconected I was at work and nothing I could do, Delivery man called at **.** said he would be there in * hour I told him sorry but I am at work so cant disconnect washer he said that okay and I said I would get rid of washer myself. He knocked on my door my grandson answered the man said I am just coming to tell you I cant deliver washer because other one is not disconnected, my grandson called and told me I phoned delivery man and said I told you washer was not disconnected and you said thats okay he said he had not read the paper properly and only just realised he had to take the other washer away I then got a friend to go to my house and disconnect washer I called driver back asked him can you deliver now he said no I cant come back.I called customer service explained what had happened the lady said she would put me on hold and call the driver after about ** minuates she came back and said she had spoken to driver and he would try his hardest to bring washer I waited until *.** then thought I would call driver see what time he would be back when I spoke to him he said the lady at argos had lied to me because no one had called him and he wasnt going to bring washer back I would have to reschedule. My daughter phoned argos for me to put in complaint after this argos said they could do new delivery date of today **th washer has arrived and driver was very nice but what has made me angry is that he did not take the old washing machine any way so this means there was no reason not to leave washer last week. I called argos a few minuates ago to ask why they couldnt have left last week and explained everythig the lady on the phone was very rude to me and said she was putting me on hold until I calmed down she then cut me off.*Is this what you call customer service I am disgusted the way I have been treated and will think twice before I order anything again from argos. order number was ********* I am mrs coombes phone number ***********
