Help with my Argos issue

Paid £** for installation and thought the delivery team would install the washer dryer! ... I ordered an washing machine from Argos on Monday ** July. The website told me to expect the following:**“Installation** After you’ve placed your order, we’ll contact you by text, email or phone to complete a short pre-installation survey to ensure your delivery and installation is a success.** You can book a delivery * installation date that suits you.** On your day of delivery, you’ll receive a text message to confirm the *-hour window when the installation team arrive, and we’ll call again to let you know when en route to your property.”**Not a single one of these things happened. During the ordering process I was asked to choose a date. I selected Thur ** July between *am and *pm. However, on Tuesday ** July, I received a telephone call to say that my washing machine would not be delivered on Thursday **th and instead, I would get a telephone call *-* days after Thursday **th, to arrange delivery.**On Friday ** July at *.**pm, I got a call to tell me the machine would be delivered the next day, on Sat ** July, and I was told to ensure the old machine was uninstalled.**On Saturday ** July, the van arrived without any further notice and we immediately hit the next problem. We were not at any time made aware that we needed a three pin socket on the wall. Our previous washing machine was hardwired so we had a spur socket but not a three pin socket for a plug. Fortunately my husband was able to do the necessary electrical work immediately although it did cause a delay to the delivery men. If we had been told to make the electrical adjustments in advance, there would have been much less inconvenience.**The delivery men told us that they face this problem all the time. Could I suggest that Argos need to follow their own instructions:*‘...we’ll contact you by text, email or phone to complete a short pre-installation survey to ensure your delivery and installation is a success’**Having said that, I want to commend the delivery men who were very pleasant and helpful.
If you pay for delivery and installation, you expect delivery and installation!!!
Argos need to follow their own website instructions and phone customers for a pre-installation survey.
I’ve bought from Argos for ** years.

I sent an email to Argos and three days later, I received a personal reply, complete with apology and a £** e-voucher for Argos. Very impressed!
