My boyfriend and I walked in and no one was at the counter. At least * waiters were staring at us for * mins and then one of them started yelling across the room for the greeter. The greeter was eating at a table and took her time to come to us. She came, greeted us and seated us. She walks away and I realize that the table is sticky, wet and dirty. I have no idea where she went so I cleaned the table myself. Our waiter took ** minutes to come over and take our order of drinks. By that point we put in the entire order, food and drinks (water). About *-*mins p*** by and there comes our waters. The food comes out. I ordered a burger with nothing on it but cheese. My burger had everything on it. I didn’t want to be a pain so I began taking the lettuce, tomato and onion off and realized my bun had some kind of sauce on it and the bun was also burnt. Our waiter did not check up on us. So we waited another *-*mins until he came with my boyfriends food so that I could ask him if he could get me another bun but please not to grill it. He comes back with only the bottom bun which is more burnt than the original one. At this point, I am ready to get up and just walk out but I remain calm and eat. My boyfriend ordered chicken tenders basket with Mac and cheese. His whole meal was cold!! The tenders were the smallest tenders we’d ever seen, more like a kids meal. And his Mac and cheese was extremely dry ! We explained everything to the waiter and he could care less, just kind of shrugging. When I asked for the manager he told me the manager was not there. Knowing his service was horrible and he messed up my order, he didn’t offer a discount or even apologize for that matter. This was the most awful dining experience I’ve ever had !!
I trust that Applebees will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
