On Saturday, June 30, I visited the Apple store in Los Gatos around 7 pm with my iPhone 6 Plus experiencing a muffled speaker issue. Apple Genius Kevin suggested changing the speaker to resolve the problem and advised me to return before closing at 9 pm. Upon my return at 8:30 pm, I was informed the technical team was working on the phone. Despite follow-ups, by 9 pm, I was told the speaker was replaced but the phone was bent, news to me as I care for my phone, and it was always in an Apple case. Additionally, I noticed smudges on the screen post-repair. On July 2, I spoke with Laurie, who offered a phone replacement for $[redacted]. Surprisingly, I was told the speaker was never changed on June 30 despite previous information. I request Apple address the issues caused by their technical support on June 30 - the smudging and phone bending. I lost time and faced inconvenience due to the support team's actions. I appreciate your assistance in resolving these matters. Thank you, Siva

I have been using iTunes for a while. My wife, son, and I shared the same Apple ID and password. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 8 due to my old phone not charging. During the setup, all my son's data was transferred to my new phone by mistake. Verizon and Apple representatives helped me clear this out, resulting in the loss of all my pictures, emails, texts, calendar events, and contacts. I now use my own Apple ID on the iPhone 8, but I am unsure if I can still access my Apple Music account. Any advice on how to resolve this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email from Apple Music regarding a subscription purchase I did not authorize. The email mentioned a 1-month subscription with a 3-month free trial, followed by a price of $59.99. It stated that I could cancel by 7/31/18 without being charged. However, the cancellation link led me to a website that seemed suspicious. I haven't requested any Apple Music memberships, and my account shows no new subscriptions. Despite living in Alaska and nobody having access to my Apple ID, I keep receiving warnings about unauthorized usage in Chicago. Please verify that I am not unknowingly signed up for the 3-month free trial and confirm that there is no evidence of me inadvertently subscribing to it. Thank you.

Hello, I am currently using an old iPhone 6 that is not working well. I decided to upgrade and got an iPhone 7 by paying $[redacted]. However, my parents have stopped sending me money because they want me to marry a girl in my home country. I am a Hindu who converted to Christianity, and this caused my parents to reject me. I had to drop out of school due to unpaid fees, and returning to India poses a threat from my parents. I am in a tough situation with no money or food, as I don't know anyone in this country. I have been sleeping in a car for two nights. I have applied for asylum, and when I appeared in court, the judge said to me...

I received the following email and I'm not sure if it's from Apple. I contacted your office this morning and was directed to Camera Kitamura in Chatan, Okinawa for assistance with my "Magic Mouse." However, upon arrival, Kitamura informed me that they do not handle mouse repairs. This misleading information led to a wasted 50-kilometer trip. Fortunately, Kitamura offered helpful guidance and assisted in sending the mouse for repairs, but this process will take approximately 2 weeks, leaving me without a mouse since there was no loaner available. Disappointingly, this experience adds to the frustrations I've had with the quality of Apple products, such as constant issues with my iMac. The service provided further contributes to the deception encountered. Moving forward, clearer and accurate communication to customers is necessary to avoid such inconveniences. As a senior citizen who purchased an iPhone 7+ from a Verizon store, I forgot to get insurance for it initially because the Verizon representative didn't mention it during my purchase. Sadly, when I later visited the store to inquire about coverage, they informed me that it was too late. Just recently, on August 4th, I discovered on Apple's website that they offer breakage insurance with no time restrictions. However, when I called [redacted], I was transferred to three different departments before being informed that I had to arrange insurance within 60 days of purchase. My phone, which is now four months old and in excellent condition, needs protection. The insurance costs $[redacted].00 for two years, and I feel misunderstood as I aim to secure this extended coverage for my device.

While my husband was at the gym today, he encountered a man having a heart attack in the locker room. He did CPR until the paramedics arrived, saving the man's life. However, during this time, someone stole his computer from his locker. As he relies on it for work, he is purchasing a replacement at the Apple store. With the help of an Apple employee, we used the "Find My" feature and confirmed the computer's location at a Motel 6. It's clear it was stolen. Is there any chance Apple could assist in reducing the cost of the new computer?

I am reaching out to address an issue with a pair of Beats Headphones I bought in April [redacted]. After three months of use, the left earpiece started playing at a very low volume. I have been an Apple customer since [redacted] and have had no problems with my previous purchases. When I contacted the Apple repair center, I was instructed to send in the headphones for assessment. However, I was dismayed to hear that I would have to pay a significant amount for the repair, despite not having caused any damage to the earpiece screen. The repair cost of $79, on top of the original $[redacted] purchase price, totals $[redacted], which I find unreasonable. I hope Apple can address and resolve this matter promptly. Please contact me via email at [redacted] or by phone at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Tracey R. [redacted] Ivy Court Winter Park, FL [redacted]

My iPhone 6 Plus seems to have been hacked. I encountered issues when attempting to sign into eBay for the first time, and it prompted me to reset my password after indicating multiple sign-in attempts. I've been using the same password for approximately 12 years. I spoke with an eBay representative who informed me that my phone may have been cloned by individuals in the Philippines. They have accessed my Gmail, Yahoo, and eBay accounts. I have already secured my Yahoo account with two-factor authentication, but my eBay account was compromised again, leaving me locked out. I am concerned about the security of my new iPhone 8 Plus, which is linked to my sister's family sharing account and worried the hack may have carried over. I recently purchased an iPad Pro but am hesitant to activate it due to fears of potential infection or hacking. I am considering cancelling my email accounts, bank accounts, and credit cards but unsure how to proceed with my devices. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My iPhone 7 Plus is having trouble connecting to the internet, despite the suggested solution from the Las Vegas, Nevada Apple Store last Wednesday. While I can receive emails, I am unable to open any attachments as it claims it cannot find a server. Although it can still receive and make phone calls, over the past two months, its internet access has significantly worsened, with Safari often showing messages stating the server stopped responding. Following the Apple Store visit, there was a temporary improvement in internet speed, but the problem has since worsened. The affected phone number is [redacted], and you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted].

I am writing to seek assistance regarding a serious issue. It seems a hacker is manipulating my iPhone 6's OS using edited backups stored in my iCloud account under [redacted] and [redacted] This person also has unauthorized access to my PayPal and eBay accounts (username: getrfreakon). Despite contacting PayPal and eBay with no resolution, I believe there must be something that can be done to stop this. They are even redirecting my emails to [redacted], a mailbox I'm locked out of. Evidence of these activities can be found in my Gmx email and iCloud accounts. The hacker seems to be posing as me, as they manipulate data from my iPhone backups. They recently even deleted my Facebook login history and hidden timeline posts, affecting my phone calls as well. This is a severe breach of privacy, and I feel it warrants involving the authorities. If needed, my mother, Ruby H., who is listed as a Facebook friend, can also confirm this issue happening to me. Your prompt investigation and assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Julie L.

I visited your West County store in MO yesterday after booking an appointment on Friday. I had to wait for 30 minutes before being assisted, and when the woman finally helped me, she was extremely rude. I felt like I was bothering her. Recently, I inherited my father's iPhone 8 through the iPhone for Life program after he passed away. Around two months ago, while adding a contact, the screen went black with just the Apple logo. Despite researching and attempting to update/reboot it, the issue persists. Being from a family all using iPhones, I was advised going to Apple would be the best solution. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service I encountered. Thank you for your attention. - S. Corey Hart

I recently switched to a new desktop and now use Microsoft Outlook [redacted]. I access Outlook data files on a NAS. Previously, my old Outlook, also connected to the same NAS, synced smoothly with my iPhone 6 through iTunes. Now, my system has set iCloud as the primary calendar without my input. While this is fine, iTunes doesn't display the iCloud file as an option for syncing with my iPhone 6 (Model MG632LL/A, S# F18Q3BF6G5MG). Ideally, I prefer having everything on the NAS, which is backed up by Carbonite. However, any solution allowing me to sync Calendars, Contacts, and Reminders would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Dear Apple, Hello, my name is Yingfei Zhao from China, and I am a huge fan of Apple products. To me, Apple represents more than just technology; it embodies a culture and spirit that I deeply admire. Ever since I got my first iPhone 4, I've been loyal to Apple for all my devices like my PC, iPad, and laptop. They have always been reliable and met all my needs. However, recently I encountered an issue with my iPhone X. While watching a video on Tuesday night, it suddenly turned off without warning and wouldn't restart despite my attempts. I reached out to Apple support, and Advisor Angelababy was very patient and helpful, but unfortunately, we couldn't fix the problem remotely. Angelababy advised me to visit an Apple store with the original box, receipt, and warranty card. Regrettably, I had not kept the box as I never anticipated any issues with my iPhone X. I understand the store's policy but felt disappointed that being the original owner and having the Apple ID wasn't sufficient for assistance. Despite this setback, I remain a devoted Apple customer and look forward to future innovations. I hope that Apple will consider revising its policies for exceptional cases like mine. Warm regards, Yingfei Zhao

I received this email from Apple Support: >Our technicians have inspected your product and found signs of accidental damage or misuse, making it ineligible for repair under warranty, AppleCare, or repair programs. Your product will be returned promptly. We apologize for any inconvenience. Model: POWERBEATS 3 WIRELESS Repair ID: D[redacted]53 Here is my response: >I discussed the product with customer service over the phone. My husband, a Marathon Runner, uses these daily. I don't understand the claim of misuse or accidental damage. These headphones are not durable enough for marathon runners. I will inform our Marathon groups on social media that Apple's product is not suitable for runners. There are better options available that cater to runner's needs without attributing misuse or accidental damage. The advertisement should clarify these headphones are suited for minimal to moderate use to avoid disappointment. Intense usage should not be marketed as suitable. I hoped for better support considering the pristine condition of the product we sent. I mentioned to the representative the missing "around the ear piece" and the malfunctioning speaker. This experience has left me disappointed in Apple's product. Thank you, Mellissa I.

On September 21, [redacted], I pre-ordered the iPhone Xs. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with UPS, saying the package was delivered but then informed me it was sent back to China. When contacting Apple, after being redirected multiple times, the representatives were courteous but couldn't guarantee delivery of my phone. Due to past issues with previous releases, I've lost faith in the process. I've been loyal to Apple for years but recent experiences have disappointed me. I've decided to cancel my order for this year and am considering alternatives. It's crucial for Apple to improve their service and delivery promises in order to maintain customer trust.
