The issue in GetHuman-budvitof's own words
I’m using QuickTime on an iMac under High Sierra to capture a movie that I have on my hard drive. **It seems that about every ** seconds or so I get a short hiccup on the screen display. My best guess is that it’s doing that while it’s accessing the next block of data from the file. If I’m right, it seems like prefetch should be taking care of that for me. If I’m right about that, do I have any control over prefetch?
GetHuman-budvitof did not yet indicate what Apple should do to make this right.
