I've read through the entire Apple Developer Program License Agreement and both sections *.* Use of the Apple Software and Apple Services and Content and Materials: *.*.** make it very clear that developers cannot use copyrighted material in their apps in any way, yet I've noticed a slew of current music teaching apps that apparently are "in violation" of this agreement. **I'm not going to mention specific names because I don't want to get them in trouble. I am ONLY interested in getting clarification from someone at your legal team as to whether there is a NON-PROMOTED LICENSING DEAL WITH MUSIC PUBLISHERS that would allow third party app creators, such as those currently selling their apps a WAIVER which would allow them to legally do so.**I am a music teacher and have a very unique approach to teaching piano and would LOVE to create an app that allows me to teach students how to play PUBLISHED songs that they love but don't want to break any laws. I spoke with an intellectual property attorney who told me that if any music publisher finds out aout someone using their music without prior authorization they risk thousands of dollars in fines PER USE!!**Would you PLEASE have an attorney (preferably) or an authorized Apple representative get back to me on this asap. **THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP ADVANCE !!
